The Effect of Prebiotic and Types of Feed Formulation on Performance, Intestinal Microflora and Cecum Gas Production of Laying Hens

In this experiment, the effect of prebiotic Bio-Mos® (MOS) and types of feed formulation (total and digestible amino acids) were evaluated on performance and the small intestine microflora in laying hens for a duration of 10 wks. A total of 168 Hy line W-36 laying hens, with an initial age of 73 wks, were randomly allocated to 4 dietary treatments, 7 replicates and 6 birds in each replicate. The study was conducted in a completely randomized design with 2 × 2 factorial arrangement of treatments including 2 preboitic levels (0, 0.5 kg/ton of diet) and 2 types of AA feed formulation (total and digestible). Egg production (EP), egg weight (EW), egg mass (EM), average daily feed intake (ADFI) and feed conversion ratio (FCR) were not affected significantly by MOS, types of AA feed formulation and their interaction. Egg quality parameters including, specific gravity (SG), shell thickness (ST), shell weight (SW), haugh unit (HU) and yolk color (YC) did not affected by P-BM and types of AA feed formulation (P>0.05). No significant effects were observed on ileum Lactobacillus count by MOS, types of AA feed formulation and their interaction (P>0.05). There were no significant differences in the rate and gas production volume of experimental treatments (P>0.05). In conclusion, feed additive used in this study did not significantly affect the laying hens performance; intestinal Lactobacillus count, cecum gas production and microbial population.
در این آزمایش، اثر پریبیوتیک بایوماس® و نوع تنظیم خوراک (بر اساس اسید‌آمینه کل و قابل هضم) بر عملکرد و جمعیت میکروبی روده باریک مرغان تخمگذار در یک دوره آزمایشی به مدت 10 هفته مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. تعداد 168 قطعه مرغ تخمگذار سویه‌های لاین 36-W در سن 73 هفتگی به طور تصادفی به 4 تیمار آزمایشی، 7 تکرار و 6 پرنده در هر تکرار اختصاص داده شدند. این مطالعه در قالب آزمایش فاکتوریل 2 × 2 با طرح پایه کاملاً تصادفی شامل دو سطح پریبیوتیک (0 و 5/0 کیلوگرم در تن جیره) و دو نوع تنظیم اسید‌آمینه خوراک (کل و قابل هضم) انجام شد. تولید تخم مرغ، وزن تخم مرغ، توده تخم مرغ، میانگین مصرف خوراک روزانه و ضریب تبدیل غذایی بوسیله پریبیوتیک بایوماس®، نوع تنظیم اسید‌آمینه خوراک و اثر متقابل آنها به طور معنیداری تحت تأثیر قرار نگرفتند. پارامترهای کیفی تخم مرغ شامل وزن مخصوص، ضخامت پوسته، وزن پوسته، واحد هاو و رنگ زرده تحت تأثیر پریبیوتیک بایوماس® و نوع تنظیم اسید‌آمینه خوراک قرار نگرفتند (05/0P>). هیچ اثر معنیداری از پریبیوتیک بایوماس®، نوع تنظیم اسید آمینه خوراک و اثر متقابل آنها بر شمارش باکتریهای لاکتوباسیل در ایلئوم مرغان تخمگذار مشاهده نشد (05/0P>). هیچ اختلاف معنیداری از نظر سرعت و حجم تولید گاز در روده کور بین تیمارهای آزمایشی وجود نداشت (05/0P>). در نتیجه افزودنی خوراکی مورد استفاده در این مطالعه تأثیر معنیداری بر عملکرد، شمارش باکتری لاکتوباسیلوس در روده و تولید گاز و جمعیت میکروبی روده کور مرغان تخمگذار نداشت.
