Twenty-four mothers of children with a diagnosis of conduct disorder were selected using convenient sampling method. The simple were divided into control and experimental groups (12 mothers in each group). Both groups completed CBCL, Behavior Performance Questionnaires. In the next step the experimental group participated in behavior parent training (ten sessions). At the end of the training both groups completed the questionnaires at the post test phase. The data were analyzed whit ANCOVA. The results showed that behavior parent training improved behavior performance (p<0.05). The purpose of this study was to explore the role of parent s’ self differentiation in predicting high schoolstudents’ self differentiation. The research was a descriptive correlational study. The population consisted of all high school students of Tehran. For this study a random cluster sampling method was used and 283 high school students were selected. The participants and their parents completed the Differentiation of Self Inventory (short form; Drake, 2011). The results of stepwise regression showed that the component of emotional reactivity of fathers’ self-differentiation could predict their sons’ self-differentiation (15%), whereas the component of I position of mothers’ self-differentiation could predict their sons’ self-differentiation (7%). Regarding female students, it was revealed that fathers’ fusion with others (7%) and mothers’ emotional reactivity (5%) would affect the self-differentiation of them. Other Components of self- differentiation of parents showed no role in this anticipation. Manuscript profile

This study aimed to investigate the effect of training compassion focused therapy on self-concept and assertiveness in female students in Isfahan. The method used in this study was semi-experimental, of the sort of pretest and post-test with control group and the statistical population were all the female students of 13 to 16 from the year 1394 to 1395. To accomplish the research, 30 female first grade high school students were chosen by accessible sampling method and randomly assigned to experiment (15 persons) and control (15 persons) groups. The experimental group received 8 training compassion focused therapy sessions. Participants responded to Self-Concept Inventory (Rogers, 1975) and Assertiveness Inventory (Rathus, 1973) before and after the intervention, and one month later (follow-up). The results of the analysis of covariance showed that teaching compassion focused therapy had no effect on self-concept of the female students but had a significant effect on assertiveness (p<0.05). This result did not continue in the follow-up period.           The purpose of this study was to compare the psychological well-being and character strengths of students based on their field of study. The research method was causal-comparative and for this purpose, 351 students of Islamic Azad University of Shabestar Branch from different faculties and different fields of study were selected by cluster sampling method. Measurement tools included the psychological well-being questionnaire (Reif, 1989) and values in action inventory of strengths questionnaire (short form) (Patterson and Seligman, 2004). Multivariate analysis of variance was used for data analysis. Results of the research showed that the components of psychological well-being and personality dynamics in students based on their field of study were significantly different (p<0.05). Between students of humanities, engineering, basic sciences and agriculture in terms of autonomy, personal development, self-acceptance, and psychological well-being (in general), and among the components of the power of life, Except for the components of leadership, forgiveness, humility and humor, there were significant differences between the other components (p<0.05). The objective of this research was to evaluate the reliability, validity and factor structure of marital jealousy scale on the use of the social networking sites (SNS). The research method was psychoanalysis and statistical population was the married men\women who employee of University of Kashan, and that use social network sites daily, and from them 223 persons were selected using simple random sampling. The participants completed the Muise, Christofides, and Desmarais, SNS Jealousy Scale (2009) and Farrugia Partner Surveillance Scale (2013). For the validity of the scale, exploratory factor analysis methods and convergent validity were used. Factor analysis of the data showed that the SNS Jealousy have four factors (including sense of infidelity, suspicion, tendency in surveillance, and sense of apprehension) and have a good convergent validity (p<0/01). Correlation between tendency in surveillance subscale and Partner Surveillance Scale indicated an appropriate convergent validity (r=0/53, p<0/01). To evaluate the reliability of the scale, internal consistency was measured by Cronbach’s Alpha yielding 0.95 which means a highly reliable scale. Based on findings of the research, it can be concluded that this scale has a high reliability and validity, which can assist us in investigating marital Jealousy on the use of the social networking sites and it can be employed for future studies.
