Potassium tribromide wrapped around polyethylene glycol ({K+PEG400}Br3-) was easily prepared by two step reaction of PEG400 with KBr followed by the addition of molecular bromine to give PEG embedded potassium tribromide as a dark viscous oil. The synthesized material was found to be an efficient, cost effective, environmentally benign and recyclable catalyst for the library synthesis of nitrogen containing heterocyclic compounds via multicomponent coupling reaction. The method offers a set of advantages such as facile synthesis, low cost, recycling ability and high product yields.

In this study, multi component Hantzsch reaction was carried out between various Aromatic Aldehyde with Dimedone,Ethyl acetateand ammonium acetate to produce polyhydroquinolinederivatives under solvent-free conditions at 110oC by a (Zinc oxide nanocatalyst) as effective Lewis acid. The remarkable advantages offered by this method compared with other methods are a green catalyst, simple work-up procedures, fast reactions, a long high yields.

phenytoine derivatives were synthesized , via the pinacol condensation with the reaction of 1,3- diphenyl- propane- 1,3- dione (benzyl) analogs with urea or thiourea in presence of slica gel and solid KOH as Solid phase catalyst in the mortar / pestle at room temperatures. The reaction was completed at short reaction times (approximately 15min) and pure products were obtained with high yields (81-94%).

An effective one-pot synthesis of dihydropyrimidinonoes in solvent free conditions using CuCl2 as an inexpensive and readily available reagent through Biginelli condensation reaction of aldehyde derivatives, 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds and urea is described. Excellent yields, short reaction times for formation of the products and simple work-up are attractive features of this green protocol.

Densities, structural effects and viscosities of binary nonelectrolyte systems including nitrobenzene + 2-propanol, 2-butanol and 2-pentanol at temperatures (293.15 to 323.15) K and normalatmospheric pressure were measured using an Anton-Paar SVM 3000 stabinger viscometer. Excess molar volumes and viscosity deviations Δη were calculated and correlated by the Redlich-Kister equation to estimate the standard uncertainty. These values are negative over the full range of composition for all studied mixtures. Free volume theory coupled with the Peng-Robinson equation of state was used to correlate liquidviscositiesofpure compounds and binary mixtures. The agreement between measured viscosity data and values calculated from this model is within experimental uncertainties

The aim of the present study is to synthesize the oxovanadium complex of the V3+ ion with isatin sciff bases. Spectroscopic methods have been used to confirm these models of complexation and to understand the structures of the species formed in methanolic solution. We also have isolated a complex of Vanadium (III) with isatin schiff bases in the solid phase.

Some new 3-(alkylsulfanyl)- 7-chloro-1-phenyl-1H-pyridazino [4,3-e][1,3,4]thiadiazine were synthesized by treatment of the alkyl-2-phenylhydrazinecarbodithioates with 4-bromo-3,6-dichloropyridazine in alkaline acetonitril. Orientation of the reaction has been determined by X-Ray crystallography technique. The chlorine atom on the number 7 position of these products was replaced by secondary amines in reflux condition.
