The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness and comparison of stress management and cognitive emotion regulation on perceived stress and accidents caused by employees in the field of operation of Isfahan Electricity Distribution Company in 1397. The research, experimental, and statistical Society included all operating personnel. The sample was randomly assigned to 60 people and randomly assigned to 20 people in each of the experimental and control groups. The measurement tool was Cohen et al. (1983) Perceived Stress Questionnaire and a Labor-Invented Research Questionnaire (1397). Two training programs on stress management and cognitive emotion regulation were administered for 8 sessions for experimental groups and the control group was observed. Variables were measured 3 times (pre-test, post-test and follow-up) and the data were collected. The results with the help of statistical tests of mixed variance analysis and post-bin Ferroni comparison the main effect of the group was significant for the perceived negative stress variable (P≥0.01). The stress management training program had a significant effect on negative perceived stress (P<0.01). Educational programs did not have a significant effect on the variable of the accident caused by work. Research results can be a basis for teaching stress management and cognitive emotion regulation in organizations . Manuscript profile
