The present study investigated the predictive role of personality characteristics, self-esteem and religious orientation of employees in their organizational citizenship behavior. In a Correlational design, 310 employees of North Khorasan Head office of Education, were selected by cluster sampling and were asked to complete the organizational citizenship behavior (Moghimi, 2005), NEO Personality Inventory (Costa & McCrae, 1985), Allport's religious orientation (Fegean, 1963) and (Rosenberg,1965) self-esteem Questionnaire. For data analysis, the Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise regression analysis were used. Stepwise regression results showed that social customs in terms of self- satisfaction, restraint (P < 0.01) and order (P= 0.05) is predictable. Other personality traits, religious orientation and personal competence and self-esteem general scores were unable to predict social customs. Altruism and Mutual coordination versus restraint, intrinsic religious orientation (P < 0.01) and order (P < 0.05) was explained and other personality traits, extrinsic religious orientation and dimensions of self-satisfaction, self-competence and self-esteem general scores were unable to predict Altruism and Mutual coordination working conscience by being cautious in decision-making and self- satisfaction (P < 0.05) is predictable. Protection of organizational resources in terms of order (P < 0.01) and self-esteem (P < 0.05) will be explained. Generosity and civility in terms of self-satisfaction, intrinsic religious orientation (P < 0.01) and external religious orientation (P < 0.05) was predictable. Overall among the predictor variables, personality traits were most predictive power for organizational citizenship b ehavior. Manuscript profile

Objective: The recent outbreak of the new coronavirus (covid-19) has caused a great deal of stress and anxiety around the world. The aim of this study was to present a structural model of resilience on coronary anxiety with a mediating role of religious orientation. Method: Sample size based on the ratio of variables to the subject, which usually the number of samples should be at least 2 to 10 times the variables (items). In this study, since the questionnaires used include 57 items, therefore the sample size according to the minimum statistical analysis conditions of 200 students in Qom was selected by stratified random sampling method and research data using resilience questionnaires. (Connor Davidson, 2017), attachment styles (Collins and Reed, 1990), coronavirus anxiety (CDAS) and religious orientation (Allport, 2001) were collected and analyzed for data from Pearson correlation and structural equations (SEM). SPSS and smart pls.2 software were used.Based on the results, the causal model confirmed the relationship between resilience, attachment styles, internal and external religious orientation and coronary anxiety based on different fitting indices. The results show that at a confidence level of 0.95 due to the larger significance level of T and Sobel statistics (3.145) of 1.96 it is clear that anxiety attachment has a significant direct effect on coronary anxiety mediated by internal religious orientation and due to Smaller significance level of T and Sobel statistic (0.321) showed that anxiety attachment had no significant direct effect on coronary anxiety mediated by external religious orientationAt the significant level of T and Sobel statistics (3.181) secure attachment and (2.439) resilience from 1.96 it can be concluded that resilience and secure attachment had a direct and positive effect on coronary anxiety mediated by internal religious orientation. Results The above shows that resilience reduces coronary anxiety by strengthening the inner religious orientation. Manuscript profile

This research aimed to investigate the relationship of personality characteristics and religious orientation with discipline desired behaviors of high school boy students. This study was a cross-sectional from type of correlation. The statistical population of research included all high school boy students of Varamin city in 2016-17 academic years. From them 360 person were selected by multistep cluster sampling method and all of them completed the questionnaires of personality characteristics (Costa and McCrae, 1995), religious orientation (Allport and Ross, 1967) and discipline desired behaviors (Yoselyani and et al, 2012). Data was analyzed with Pearson correlation and multivariate regression with stepwise model methods. The findings of correlation showed neuroticism and external religious orientation had a negative and significant relationship with discipline desired behaviors and agreeableness, conscientiousness and internal religious orientation had a positive and significant relationship with discipline desired behaviors. Also the finding of regression showed the variables of conscientiousness, neuroticism and internal religious orientation can predict 38/4 percent of variance of discipline desired behaviors of high school boy students (P<0/05). Therefore suggest that counselors and psychologists to improve the discipline desired behaviors of high school boy students increase the conscientiousness and internal religious orientation of them and decrease the neuroticism of them. This study aimed to predict depression in college students through attributional style and religious orientation. In this correlational research, 200 students were selected among all undergraduate students from Azad Medical University of Tehran using multi-stage sampling method. Then the subjects were examined using the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Allport's religious orientation questionnaires and Seligman Attributional Style Questionnaire (ASQ). Data were analyzed using pearson correlation, multiple regression analysis, multivariable analyze of variance and t-tests. The results showed that intrinsic attributional style and table attributional style in negative events were predictors of significant and positive depression. Intrinsic religious orientation was significant negative predictor of and depression. In addition, independent t-test showed that religious affiliation in females was significantly more than males. In addition, depression scores in females were significantly higher than that of males; furthermore, the difference between mean scores of intrinsic, global and stable attributional styles in positive and negative events simultaneously between females and males was not significant. The results imply that attributional style and religious orientation are of the most effective predictors of depression. Manuscript profile

The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between religious orientation (internal/external) and psychological well-being which has been conducted in a correlation method. The population of the study included all Islamic Azad University, North Tehran Branch. The research sample volume included 71 students selected randomly via cluster sampling from management, law and psychology colleges. The scales of religious orientation (Allport, 1950) and PWI psychological well-being (Carol, 1988) were used to collect the data of the study. Stepwise regression analysis was used to analyze the data. The results showed that there was a statistically significant relationship between the internal and external religious orientation scores and psychological well-being. On the other hand, the results obtained from stepwise regression analysis showed that both internal and external religious orientations were capable to predict psychological well-being. These results could be determined in such a way that the more internal youth’s religious orientation, the more their psychological well-being and the more external youth’s religious orientation, the less their psychological well-being. On the other hand, religious orientation was capable to predict the psychological well-being. Manuscript profile

The aim of this research was to provide a prediction model of social desirability based on strictness, provocativeness and religious orientation. The current research was applied and in terms of method, it was a descriptive-correlational study. The research sample consisted of 360 students who were studying in the second secondary level of normal schools in Central Province, who were randomly selected and given a questionnaire. Data collection tools included four questionnaires of Carlo et al's Prosocial Tendencies Measure Revised (2003), Lang & Goulet's Hardness questionnaire (2003), Buss & Plomine et al's Irritability Scale (1984) and Allport and Ross's Religious orientation questionnaire (1967). Cronbach's alpha coefficient, factor analysis and model fit indices were used to analyze the data. The results of the research show that social desirability is directly related to strictness and impulsiveness in students (p<0.01). Also, social desirability is indirectly related to strictness and impulsiveness through religious orientation (p<0.01). Therefore, cultivating the trait of strictness and provocation through the mediation of religious orientation in students can be effective in increasing the social desirability of students.
