        The purpose of this study was to compare the acute effects of accelerated plyometric, resisted plyometric and common plyometric training in active girls. In a randomized, crossover design, 10 active girls participated in this study and performed plyometric exercise in three positions: accelerated plyometric (fasten elastic tube from above to subject), resisted plyometric (fasten elastic tube from the bottom to subject), and common plyometric (without tube). Plyometric exercise was consisted 3 sets x 10 repetitions of jumping squat. Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and creatine kinase (CK) were measured prior, immediately and 24 h after exercise. One-way repeated measures ANOVA and Bonferroni post-hoc test was used. Results showed that CK increased immediately in 24 h after exercise than pre exercise in resisted plyometric. There was not significant difference for LDH between groups. It seems that resisted plyometric and common plyometric than accelerated plyometric induce greater muscle damage, but there was significant difference between different types of plyometric for CK and LDH.         The purpose of this study was the effect of two different post activation potentiation methods on the explosive power and sprint performance of female athletes. Methods: For this purpose, 25 female students of physical education in Bandar Turkmen city were selected to participate in the research. Subjects were divided into five groups [experimental 1 (10 minutes warm-up, parallel squat with 80% 1RM and Sargent test), experimental 2 (10 minutes warm-up, parallel squat with 80% 1RM and speed test), experimental 3 (10 minutes warm-up, depth jump from a height of 40 cm with five repetitions and two turns and Sargent's test), experimental 4 (10 minutes of warm-up, deep jump from a height of 40 cm with five repetitions and two turns of the speed test, with the difference that the speed test after four minutes) and the control group (without exercise program)] were dividedResults: The results within the group showed that the level of explosive power (Sargent's jump) of subjects in the experimental group 1 (12.72 percent), experimental 2 (15.33 percent), experimental 3 (17.44 percent), and experimental 4 (24.00 percent) increased significantly. Also, the intra-group results in the sprinting test of experimental group 1 (13.84 percent), experimental 2 (14 percent), experimental 3 (14.08 percent), experimental 4 (15.55 percent) had a significant decrease, but in the control group the level of explosive power and speed did not change significantly. Conclusion: The findings indicate that the post-activation potentiation exercise program of this research improved the explosive power and sprinting of the athletes. Manuscript profile

        Background: The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of plyometric exercises with arginine supplementation on some physical fitness factors of beach soccer players for the purpose of injury prevention. Method: Based on the research entry criteria, 20 beach soccer players were selected and were randomly assigned to two groups of plyometric exercises (n=10) and plyometrics with arginine supplement (n=10). Then, age, height, weight, and physical fitness factors including aerobic and anaerobic capacity, muscle strength and endurance, and fat percentage of subjects were evaluated. The first training group received plyometric exercises with arginine supplement. In the second group, plyometric exercises were applied along with placebo. After 8 weeks of training, physical fitness factors were re-evaluated. The correlated T test was used to determine the intra-group changes and the ANCOVA test was used to compare between the groups. The obtained results were analyzed using SPSS version 26 software. Results: The findings showed that both plyometric training programs with and without arginine supplementation had a significant effect on improving aerobic power (P=0.002, P=0.001), anaerobic power (P≥0.01), muscle strength. (P=0.001), muscle endurance (P=0.004) and fat percentage (P=0.001). Also, the results of comparing the effects of two training programs show that there is a significant difference between the two training programs in the variables of aerobic power (P=0.01), anaerobic power (P≥0.05) and fat percentage (P=0.02). Conclusions: According to the results and previous studies, using two types of plyometric exercises, with and without using Arginine supplementation especially with arginine supplementation could be useful to prevent sports related injuries specially ankle and knee sprains and groin strain which are prevalent among soccer players of all types specially beach soccer players. It is explained by different mechanisms including affecting aerobic and anaerobic powers, muscle strength and endurance, and body fat. Manuscript profile

        The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of eight weeks of core with plyometric training on rang of motion and power athletes with chronic ankle sprain. The statistical population of this study included all young boys with ankle sprain. The sample consisted of 30 subjects (10 for each group), who were initially targeted and finally randomly selected and matched to three groups of (Core stability, Plyometric) and control group were divided. The explosive power and range of motion (dorsiflexion and plantar flexion) were evaluated and measured before the start of the training protocol. The experimental group performed their exercises consisting of core stability and plyometric exercises for eight weeks (3 sessions per week) and the control group did not perform any training activity during the study. Finally, after the exercise protocol, a test was used to evaluate the variables. To determine the difference between the pre-test and post-test of each of the experimental and control groups, the dependent and independent t-test were used by SPSS software. The results showed that Core stability training had a significant effect on power, but there was no significant difference in range of motion (plantar flexion and dorsiflexion) and no significant improvement from pre-test to post-test. Plyometric exercises had significant effect on ankle strength and range of motion (plantar flexion and dorsiflexion). Manuscript profile
