        Osteomyelitis is one of the most important life threatening conditions in medicine and veterinary subsequently localized through infection agent following sepsis by bacteria or from trauma, soft tissue, or even following the orthopedic surgery. From among various inflectional agents, MSSA aureus which is sensitive and resistant to MRSA Methicillin play important role in causing osteomyelitis staphylococcus. Since today it is reported from around the world species resistant to vancomycin which is applied as primary treatment in the cases of acute osteomyelitis resulted from MRSA, efforts to find out alternative treatment is a matter of concern for researchers. In this study, 18 New Zealand white rabbits were divided in to 3 groups of control, vancomycin and enrofloxacin. Rabbits were infected by CFU106 from bacteria in diaphysis of tibia bone and after two weeks ensuring that the acute osteomyelitis induced in tibia bone tissues, rabbits were distributed in 3 groups randomly. Before and after inducing osteomyelitis, inflammatory parameters of heterophil to lymphocyte ratio and toxic changes were measured. After two weeks’ treatment in groups of treatment, two weeks were considered as rest too. after that bones sent for colony counting and microbiology examination. Findings of statistical analysis showed that the difference between control group and vancomycin and control group and enrofloxacin in introduced parameters was significant (P<0.05), however there was not significant difference between the groups of vancomycin and enrofloxacin (P<0.05). It is supposed that vancomycin could be substituted by enrofloxacin in acute osteomyelitis resulted from MRSA. Manuscript profile

        Background and purpose: The thymus is a specialized lymphatic organ in the immune system and plays a vital role in the normal functioning of the immune system. It was observed that 24 and 48 hours after dexamethasone consumption, thymocytes decrease by 55 and 84%, respectively, which can be associated with a decrease in the ability of the thymus to mature and differentiate T lymphocytes. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of 4 weeks of high intensity interval training on IL-4 and IFN-γ gene expression in the thymus tissue of rats with dexamethasone-induced immune system weakness.Materials and methods: The research samples in the present study consisted of 24 male Wistar rats, which were randomly divided into 3 groups: healthy control group, immunocompromised control group, immunocompromised group + intense periodic activity. Weakening of the immune system of the samples was done by injecting dexamethasone for three days, and high intensity interval training was done for 5 sessions per week, at 85% of the VO2max speed of the samples, for 4 weeks. The data were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance and Tukey's post hoc test at the level of α ≥0.05.Findings: The data showed that the expression of IFN-γ and IL4 gene decreased with dexamethasone injection compared to the control group (p=0.0001), also performing intense intermittent exercise led to a further decrease in IFN-γ and IL4 gene expression in the thymus tissue, but This reduction was not significant (p=0.151).Conclusion: In the present study, it was found that dexamethasone reduces the function of the thymus in the production of inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines, thereby reducing their function in the maturation of lymphocytes.         AbstractThis study investigated the The effect of eight weeks of resistance training and glutamine supplementation on some hematological factors and maximum strength of male athletes. For this purpose For this purpose 24 men at Mashhad were selected on a voluntary basis and according to research requirements through recall informed of the study, that were placed in three groups of eight persons including Control group and placebo group and glutamine group. Resistance training included: 8 moves, 3 sets, 8 to 10 repetitions, with 60% intensity, one maximum repetition and more than 75% incremental. Subjects consumed their supplement and medication 3 days a week. Statistical analysis of the data using the software SPSS version 21 was carried out by Repeated measures and Tukey test at the significant level P>0/05. The findings indicated a significant increase in neutrophil levels, blood lymphocyte and maximal power through resistance training and glutamine consumption, but Resistance training alone could not make significant changes in the factors. Therefore, it is recommended that the coaches, along with the setting of a resistance training program for athletes, also use glutamine supplementation to enhance the ability to exercise, by increasing some of the blood factors leading to the improvement and strengthening of the immune system.Key words: Resistance exercises, neutrophils, lymphocytes, maximal power Manuscript profile

        این مطالعه به منظور بررسی اثرات آبلیمو در آب آشامیدنی و آویشن در رژیم غذایی بر عملکرد رشد، غلظت تری‪گلیسرید و کلسترول سرم، هتروفیل، لنفوسیت و نسبت هتروفیل به لنفوسیت و فعالیت آنزیم گلوتاتیون پراکسیداز در جوجه‏های گوشتی تحت شرایط تنش گرمایی انجام شد. آزمایش به صورت فاکتوریل 3 × 2 با دو سطح آبلیمو (0 و 2 ملی‏لیتر در لیتر آب آشامیدنی) و سه سطح پودر آویشن (0، 5/0 و 1 درصد جیره غذایی) انجام شد. هر تیمار شامل 4 تکرار (9 پرنده در هر تکرار) بود. پرندگان از 25 تا 42 روزگی در دمای 2 ± 34 درجه سانتی‪گراد (از ساعت 9 تا 17) قرار گرفتند. خوراک مصرفی، اضافه وزن بدن، ضریب تبدیل غذایی، نسبت هتروفیل به لنفوسیت، فعالیت آنزیم گلوتاتیون پراکسیداز و غلظت کلسترول سرم تحت تأثیر اثرات آبلیمو و آویشن قرار نگرفتند (05/0P>) در حالیکه اثر ترکیبی این دو ماده افزودنی باعث بهبود عملکرد و کاهش نسبت هتروفیل به لنفوسیت و غلظت تری‏گلیسرید سرم شد (05/0P≤). استفاده همزمان 5/0 درصد آویشن و 2 میلی‏لیتر در لیتر آبلیمو خوراک مصرفی و اضافه وزن بدن را به ترتیب به میزان 229 و 165 گرم افزایش داد. افزودن 5/0 و 1 درصد آویشن به جیره غذایی و 2 میلی‏لیتر در لیتر آبلیمو به آب آشامیدنی باعث کاهش غلظت تری‏گلیسرید سرم به ترتیب به میزان 8/9، 1/11 و 5/8 میلی‏گرم در دسی‏لیتر شد. نتایج این آزمایش نشان داد که استفاده همزمان 5/0 درصد آویشن به جیره غذایی و 2 میلی‏لیتر در لیتر آبلیمو به آب آشامیدنی یک برنامه مدیریتی بالقوه‏ای را جهت جلوگیری از کاهش عملکرد ناشی از تنش گرمایی بر جوجه‏های گوشتی فراهم می‏کند.         مطالعه حاضر به منظور بررسی اثر تیمول و کارواکرول بر عملکرد تولید، فعالیت آنزیم‪های آنتی‪اکسیدانی و متابولیت‪های خونی جوجه‪های گوشتی تحت تنش گرمایی طراحی شد. جوجه‪ها تا 25 روزگی با جیره استاندارد تجاری تغذیه شده و سپس به یک آزمایش فاکتوریل (2×3) در قالب طرح کاملاً تصادفی با سه سطح کارواکرول (0، 300 و500 میلی‌گرم در هرکیلوگرم خوراک) و دو سطح تیمول (0 و250 میلی‌گرم درهرکیلوگرم خوراک) در چهار تکرار نه پرنده‪ای اختصاص یافتند. جهت ایجاد تنش گرمایی، جوجه‌ها از 26 روزگی تحت دمای 35 درجه سانتی­گراد به مدت 8 ساعت در روز قرار گرفتند. نتایج آزمایش نشان داد که مصرف کارواکرول اثر معنی‪داری بر پارامترهای عملکردی نداشت، اما مصرف 250 میلی­گرم تیمول منجر به افزایش معنی‌دار وزن روزانه و کاهش معنی‌دار ضریب تبدیل غذایی به میزان 4 و 6 درصد شد (05/0>P). ­گلبول­های سفید، قرمز، هموگلوبین، هماتوکریت و لنفوسیت تحت تأثیر تیمارها قرار نگرفتند، اما هتروفیل و نسبت هتروفیل به لنفوسیت با مصرف تیمول و کارواکرول به طور معنی‌داری کاهش یافت (05/0>P). مصرف تیمول و کارواکرول، کلسترول سرم خون را کاهش داد (05/0>P)، اما اثری بر تری‌گلیسرید و لیپوپروتئین‌های با چگالی کم و زیاد و گلوکز خون نداشت. هر دو مکمل تیمول و کارواکرول به طور معنی‌داری فعالیت آنزیم گلوتاتیون پراکسیداز را در مقایسه با گروه شاهد افزایش دادند (05/0>P). درصد لاشه و سینه با مکمل تیمول افزایش یافت (05/0>P)، اما اثری بر وزن نسبی اندام‪های داخلی مشاهده نشد. بنابراین مصرف 250 میلی­گرم تیمول می‌تواند از طریق بهبود عملکرد و پتانسیل آنتی‪اکسیدانی خون در جهت رفع اثرات منفی تحت تنش گرمایی مؤثر باشد.         Due to increased production and use of nanoparticles, extensive studies are needed to determine their toxicity and negative effects. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of Fe2ZnO4 nanoparticle on blood cell counts and hematocritpercentage. In this experimental study, 24 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into groups of 8 rats. Group 1 received 0.5 ml of saline. Group 1 and 2 received 0.5ml of distillated water containing 100 and 200 ppm Fe2ZnO4for 7 successive days. Red blood cell count, white blood cell count and differential count, platelet count and hematocrit were determined 2, 7 and 14 days after treatment. Fe2ZnO4 lead to a significant reduction in RBC and a significant increase in WBC. Nanoparticles exposure increased neutrophil and lymphocyte percentage which reflects the heightened response of innate immune system against nanoparticles.
