Indigenous modernity in the historical sociology of Iran has always been one of the important and focal issues and different definitions and descriptions of this concept have been presented. The abundance of such descriptions has made these concepts, to a large extent, turn into abstract and undefined categories. In the following article, the authors try to provide a comparative and critical plan of the content of the works of two scholars in the field, Abbas Milani (1328-H.) and Mohammad Tawakli Targhi (1336-H.), while examining the category of indigenous modernity; Milani and Tavakoli Targhi are among those who believe in indigenous modernization in Iran. For this reason, we will review various aspects of their thought in the following lines by reading their texts so that we can at least explain the evolution of this concept to these two authors and answer this question: How these two thinkers consider the result of modernity as a native continuity in line with Iran's historical-cultural developments and not as an imported development from the western world. When the Prophet entered Medina, many Jews lived in that city who had close relations with the Arabs living in Medina. Thus, after entering the city, the Prophet (PBUH) made a pact of alliance with the Jews, and because they were the People of the Book, he tried to persuade them to convert to Islam with the enlightening verses of the Qur'an. The present study tries to answer the question, what was the evolution of the Prophet's discourse in relation to the Jews of Medina (according to the verses of the Qur'an)? According to the verses of the Qur'an, he tried to establish peaceful relations with the Jews; He first tried to present the verses of the Qur'an to them and thus warn them and invite the Jews to Islam by warning and establishing peaceful interaction with them. But because the Jews resisted and argued with the enlightening messages of Islam, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) turned away from them based on the verses of the Qur'an and warned them of the consequences of the method they had taken; Finally, receiving the Jizyah from them and fighting them as the last divine command was revealed to the Prophet against those of the People of the Book who were stubborn and hostile to the Muslims. This study was conducted with the aim of explaining the political, social and cultural effects of the presence of Imam Reza in Iran. Displacement of Imam Reza to Iran and his enlightened and innovative religious presence, despite the terrible and closed environment of the Ma'mun era, led to the growth and expansion of the fields of religious modernity and Weber's rationality in the scientific debates of Mutazilites and Asharites. The expansion of the intellectual space created in the light of Skocpoltheory of historical sociology, based on meaningful and purposeful actions and constructive contexts, is the fundamental question of this research. This study aims to explain the effects of Imam Reza's presence in Iran with a qualitative method of historical sociology. The data collection technique of this research is documentary and library. In this study, with the approach of the historical methodology, it is understood that the effects of Imam Reza's soft-spoken thoughts in the face of questioners, opponents and opponents have led to the exit from ossification in society and it has led to the emergence of significant social actions in Skocpol's.
