The aim of this research was to identify the factors affecting the happiness of urban girls in Islamshahr, with a focus on the Islamshahr population. The statistical population of this study was 8474 students, and based on Morgan's table, a sample size of 367 individuals was estimated and randomly selected. However, to ensure the return of all questionnaires, the researcher provided about 400 questionnaires to individuals. The measurement tools included three questionnaires: 1) the researcher-made questionnaire on socio-economic status, 2) the researcher-made questionnaire on leisure time activities, and 3) the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used to analyze the data of this study. The chi-square and Mann-Whitney tests were used to determine the relationship between the research variables. The findings of the study showed a significant relationship (p<0.05) between leisure time activities and the level of happiness among students, but there was no significant relationship (p>0.05) between socio-economic status and happiness. Furthermore, there was a significant relationship (p<0.05) between socio-economic status and leisure time activities among students. Manuscript profile

The purpose of this study was to predict the tendency of high risk behaviors based on religious beliefs, emotion seeking, environmental polution and media in female university students. The population included all female students at the University of Isfahan. Thus, in a correlational research design, 290 students were randomly selected and were assessed by Iranian Adolescents Risk Taking Scale (IADS), the Questionnaire for Measurement Rate of Use of Media (elyasi, 1393), Emotion Seeking Scale (Zukerman), Questionnaire of  Religious Beliefs (Keshavarz & et al., 1389), a researcher-made scale for environmental pollution, and the Demographic Questionnaire. Results of Pearson correlation showed that religious beliefs, emotion seeking, squalor milieu, age of testees had significant relationship with high risk behaviors. In addition results of hierarchical  regression showed that from among first rank variables, doing the religious rituals, uninhibition, squalor milieu, the use of virtual and social network; and from among second rank variables parents age can predict 54.9 % of tendency to high risk behaviors in female students(p<0.01).          This study examined the effect of cognitive group counseling on responsibility of pre-university female students in Gotvand city in 2009-10. The population was female students in Pre- University in Gotvand. The sample consisted of 60 students they were randomly assigned to an experimental (n=30) and a control group (n=30). The design of this study was of the pretest-posttest-follow-up (1 month) with control group . California Personality Inventory (Gough, 1987) was used in order to collect the data. Experimental group received cognitive group counseling in 8 sessions, each one-half an hour. The results of analysis of covariance showed that cognitive group counseling was effective in increasing responsibility among pre- university female students in Gotvand city (P Manuscript profile

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of assertiveness training on quality of life and differentiation in the female students of Islamic Azad University of Roudehen, who lived in dormitory. It was a quasi-experimental research involving pre- and post-testing. The statistical population consisted of all female students who lived in the dormitory of Islamic Azad University of Roudehen during the second semester of academic year 2014-15. Thirtyfemale students who received low scores in The World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL) scale (Ware & Sherburne,1992) and the Differentiation of Self Inventory-Revised (DSI-R) (Skowron& Friedlander,1998) were selected via convenience sampling and then were randomly placed into two equal-size groups: the experimental and the control group. The experimental group was trained on assertiveness as an independent variable in eight hour-long sessions (twice a week). The results of multivariate analysis of covarianceshowed that assertivenesstraining significantly affected quality of life and differentiation in the members of the experimental group. In other words, quality of life and differentiation were found out to be higher among the students who received assertiveness training in comparison to the ones who did not (p<0/01). The aim of this study was to investigate the predictive role of emotional schemas and difficulties in emotion regulation in high-risk behaviors among university students. The research method was descriptive and correlational, and statistical population included all students from Kosar University of Bojnord. The Sample of 325 (female) students were selected by random cluster sampling. Research tools were the Young’s Risk Behavior Scale (YRBS; Brener et al, 1995), Emotional Schemas Scale (LESS; Leahy, 2002) and Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS; Gratz & Roemer, 2004). To analyze the data, methods of descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation and multiple regression were employed. Findings indicated that some components of Emotional Schemas like, Emotional Self-awareness, Consensus, and Acceptance of feelings were negatively and Comprehensibility, Rumination, Guilt, and blame were positively associated with high-risk behaviors. In addition, some factors of difficulties in emotion regulation such as, Difficulties Engaging in Goal-Directed Behavior, Impulse Control Difficulties, Lack of Emotional Awareness, Limited Access to Emotion Regulation Strategies, and Lack of Emotional Clarity were predicted high-risk behaviors. Findings of present study showed that failure in the perception and dysregulation of emotions may susceptible a person to experience emotional distress which probably high risk behaviors was chosen as a mean to relieve negative emotions.
