Recognition in Sadra's view is an existential subject and is a way for perfection of soul. In his view, the end of episteme is becoming Godly and perceiving the name and recipes of god with presence knowledge. With this explanation of episteme shown the position of revelation intuition inside of intellect and also drawn revelation, intuition and intellects triangle that is the Sadra’s base for episteme. Sufism, as a social institution, has great importance in the history of Iran. Its principles, rules and teachings refer to special rituals that Sufis have to obey them. Along with political and social changes, Sufism has had its ups and downs, and many tendencies and branches have been formed in it. But for all its breadth, it can be considered as a Foucauldian discourse. By employing analytical-comparative method, the present study seeks to assess the function and structure of power in Sufism based on Foucault's theory of power discourse. The results of the study show that Sufism has a dual function. On the one hand, it creates a kind of public discipline, affects the individual freedom, and its teachings reinforce and establish the propositions of power. On the other hand, it can sometimes expand the scope of general knowledge, challenges, as a rival discourse, the other discourses including the sovereign power discourse. In this way, Sufism can reduce, albeit slightly, the despotism of parallel institutions, especially the sovereign one, by distributing power and wealth.   Manuscript profile

Ode is the first poetry form that Iranaian poets composed in it. In dispite of all the ups and downs, this form was a legimate and normal form (beside of ghazal and mathnavi) untile parliamentary revolution. But when parliamentary revolution happened, some poets and open- mInded as Aghakhan e Kermani, Akhundzade, Rafat,… opposed to ode and it's content (praise is the majer content of ode) and this form converted to an unnormal form and was being to decline suddenly. The reason of these converthons must be searched in converthons of episteme (modern and premodern). In a premodern episteme that it's presupposithon is unequality, ode is a normal form. In this episteme  the language is mild, favorable and flattering and it is compatible to ode, so ode is a usual form. But in the modern episteme  that it's presupposithon is equality, a flattering language isn't usual. So ode can not be a normal form in this episteme.   Manuscript profile

This paper addresses to validate the mental perceptions and Ghazali’s levels of understanding, dealing with the departure point starting from his well- known attack against philosophers. The main question in this paper is that how much is the validity of philosophical reason when it is going beyond its own epistemological realm, trying to explain the religious concepts by its own method? Ghazali believes that the philosophical reason is not sufficient. For it is beyond the reason ability, therefore, the reason must be illuminated by the revelation to understand such issues. Accordingly, the reason is not an independent source of knowledge, if it wants to speak about the religious propositions; it will go beyond its own limitation. He begins with the certain science denying the philosophical reason determining the limitation of reason, explaining the problems of philosophers, theologians and sufis by delivering the criteria of episteme. Finally, he concludes the philosophical knowledge is not the instrument which can help us to understand the scriptures and it is not related to it, because the reason beyond its limitation will engage in contradiction and skepticism and cannot show the reality as such is. Therefore, the religion must be independent. As a result, this paper criticizes the methodical incoherency that can be found in the meaning of reason has been depicted in his works. The Historicism in Western Philosophy is considered as a research method in religious texts which has been expanded among the Muslim Intellectuals recently. Accordingly, religious episteme is a historical phenomenon and has not been transmitted to the other periods and on other words, there is a gap between the epistemic periods. Hence the QURAN is the central text of Muslims which is interpreted in different manner, while none of them are not absolute one. In fact, all interpretations of Quran are historical and have been affected by the contexts. Its proponents argued that the Quran is cultural and contextual text, so dogmatic approaches on religious episteme that has been received through Quran, should be abandoned. It must be taken into consideration as a historical phenomenon. Assessment of their claims shows that certain principles of historicism is ambiguous  and capable to be criticized; Although This approach rooted in the history of Islamic thought and methods of the text  understanding  but it will not be able to be applied to all religious teachings and evaluated by historical method Manuscript profile
