This research aimed to investigate the prediction model of psychological well-being based on resilience and cognitive emotional regulation with mediate role of perceived stress. The study design was cross-sectional from type of correlation. The statistical population was undergraduate girl students at the universities of Tehran in 2017-18 academic years which 382 people were selected as a sample by randomly multistage sampling method. The research instruments was the questionnaires of psychological well-being (Ryff, 1989), resilience (Connor & Davidson, 2003), cognitive emotional regulation (Garnefski & et al, 2001) and perceived stress (Cohen & et al, 1983). The data was analyzed by structural equation modeling method. The findings showed that the variables of resilience and positive and negative cognitive emotional regulation strategies had a direct and indirect (with mediate perceived stress) effect on psychological well-being of girl students. The variable of perceived stress was the proper mediator between resilience and cognitive emotional regulation with psychological well-being of girl students and the model fitted well (P Manuscript profile

The purpose of this study was to investigate the hopefulness prediction modeling based on resilience and cognitive emotional regulation considering the mediating quality of life in women with breast cancer. The research method was descriptive and the statistical method was correlation. The statistical population of this study included all patients with breast cancer referring to Cancer Institute of Imam Khomeini and Milad hospitals in Tehran in 1397-1398. Purposeful sampling method was used to select the sample. In this way, 300 patients with breast cancer were selected based on the criteria of entering and leaving the research. The research instruments were the Conor-Davidson Resilience Questionnaire, Garnowski et all, Cognitive Emotion Regulation Inventory), World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale, and Schneider hopefulness et all, for data analysis, structural equation modeling was used. The findings showed that the direct effect of quality of life on hopefulness of patients with breast cancer was equal to (t = 1.98 and β = 0.31) and Resilience had a significant direct (t=2.38 & β=0.37) and indirect (t=2.03 & β=0.14) effect on the hopefulness (mediating of quality of life) (p <0.05). Also, positive cognitive emotion regulation and negative cognitive emotion regulation did not have a significant direct effect on hopefulness. Positive cognitive emotion regulation on the hopefulness had significant indirect effect (t = 2.14 and β = 0.18) and negative cognitive emotion regulation on the hopefulness had significant indirect effect (t = 2.09 and β = 0.16) (mediating of quality of life) (p <0.05). The results of the model analysis showed that the factor structure of the research scales was confirmed. The results of the conceptual model test showed that the fitting indices of the research model are in a favorable situation. Increasing the rate of reproduction directly increases the hopefulness of patients with breast cancer and also increases the level of hopefulness of these patients by increasing the quality of life. Also, increasing the cognitive emotion regulation by increasing the quality of life increases the level of hope of patients.   Manuscript profile

Aim: The aim of this study was to the effectiveness of creativity training by using lego on the emotioen regulation and cognitive emotional regulation of gifted children. Methods: The research method was a pretest-posttest test with control group in this study. The statistical society of this study included all children aged 4 to 5 are at lego education center in Tehran in the academic year 1397-98. For this purpose, 30 children were selected by available sampling. The research instrument consisted of emotioen regulation questionnaire (Gross & John, 2003), intelligence scale Stanford binet (Roid, 2003) and emotioen regulation checklist (Shields & Cicchetti, 1998). The experimental group was trained with creativity training by using lego in 12 sessions 60 minute. Data were analyzed by using covariance analysis. Results: The results showed that family-centered structured games using Lego bricks had a significant effect on the emotioen regulation subscale (emotioen regulation & emotional instability) (p < 0.01). But this effect on the cognitive emotioen regulation subscale (expressive source & cognitive reassessment) was not significant (P> 0.01). Conclusion: Therefore, consultants and therapists can benefit from creativity training by using lego method for improve emotioen regulation of gifted children. Manuscript profile

TThe existence of violence in family patterns has led to its extension to society and the persistence of violent patterns and behaviors in social relationships. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of cognitive emotional regulation on reducing domestic violence and marital emotional empathy. The research method is semi-experimental. Using the cognitive-emotional training program, the effectiveness of this training was assessed in experimental and control groups. The statistical population of the study includes all men referred to Zanjan city counseling centers in 1399. Accordingly, using available sampling method 2 groups of 20 people were selected in the control group (without training), the experimental group (cognitive-emotional training) and were matched based on age (30 to 45 years), academic status (undergraduate, bachelor, and master degree). The scale of domestic violence and marital emotional empathy were implemented before and after the training of cognitive emotional regulation. Data were analyzed using covariance test (ANCOVA-MANCOVA) through SPSS software. The results of this study showed that cognitive emotion regulation training has been effective in decreasing domestic violence  (Psychological violence 0.003, physical violence 0.041 and economic violence 0.022) and increasing emotional empathy(Reactive empathy 0.020, expressive empathy 0.008, participatory empathy 0.022, emotional affectivity 0.025 and emotional stability 0.016) in experimental group. The results of the present study indicate that psychologists implement workshops and therapy plans in order to make positive changes for promoting marital interpersonal relationship, taking into account positive and negative emotions in counseling centers. Mindfulness plays an important role in variables associated with depression. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of mindfulness-based stress reduction therapy on cognitive emotion regulation strategies and anxiety and depression rate in patients with major depressive disorder. For this purpose, in a semi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test and control group, 30 patients with major depression were selected from available samples. They were assigned to two groups of experiment and control, randomly. The groups were evaluated in terms of depression, anxiety and cognitive emotion regulation strategies both before and after the intervention and in a two-month follow-up. The experimental group underwent two months of therapy based on mindfulness. The result of combined analysis of variance indicated that intervention based on mindfulness, significantly decreased depressive, anxiety and cognitive emotion regulation maladaptive strategies symptoms. It appears that mindfulness-based therapy, can be a good way to treat and prevent recurrence of the disorder by targeting the involved mechanisms in changing the cognitive emotional regulation strategies in patients with major depression. Depression is a common and growing disorder and various factors has been proposed in the etiology of it, one of which is personality traits. The aim of the present study is to determine mediating role of cognitive emotional regulation in relationship between dimensions of temperament and character and depression. For this purpose, through a descriptive-correlational study, 205 students were selected via voluntary sampling method and evaluated in terms of dimensions of temperament and character, depression level, and employing cognitive emotional regulation strategies. The correlation results indicated a significant positive relationship between temperament and character dimensions and cognitive emotional regulation with depression. Also, path analysis showed that dimensions of temperament and character impact depression indirectly through cognitive emotional regulation. Thus, based on current research findings, it can be concluded that emotional regulation strategies have a mediating role in relationship between temperament and character dimensions and depression. Personality dimensions impact depression through certain mechanisms. Considering these dimensions and the effectiveness of the employed mechanisms can be useful in developing efficacious preventive and therapeutic interventions for depression. Manuscript profile
