        For athletes and people who are actively involved in sports, sports identity is a valuable part of their existence that can fulfill their sports identity needs by participating in sports. Sport identity increases with the level of involvement in sport, and a strong sport identity is positively related to sport achievement as well as to higher motivation and competitiveness. The general aim of the research is to present a paradigmatic model of sports identity among taekwondo players in West Azerbaijan province. In terms of the method of a qualitative research, it is of the type of basic theory. The studied community includes members of the Taekwondo Board of West Azarbaijan province, education committees and trainers with national degrees of West Azarbaijan province. Sampling was done by snowball method and continued until theoretical saturation. After implementing the interview texts, selective coding, axial and open codes were extracted and analyzed using MAXQDA software. Finally, a paradigm algorithm was presented. Based on the findings, the paradigmatic pattern of sports identity among taekwondo players in West Azerbaijan province was composed of 4 categories (identification with sports team, sports technical identity, sports social identity and sports moral identity), 8 secondary concepts and 39 primary concepts.         Sports identity is a type of social identity that refers to the belonging of a group of athletes to a specific discipline. Sports identities are a valuable part of a person's feeling. A strong sports identity can cause the motivation and discipline necessary for an athlete's continuous attendance in training as well as success at high levels of sports. The statistical population includes taekwondo athletes of West Azarbaijan province with at least 2 years of experience in the provincial league, which included 2100 people based on the documented statistics of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of West Azarbaijan province. The sample size was calculated based on Cochran's 324 formula and selected based on simple random sampling. questionnaire was confirmed based on the criteria of Fornell and Larcker, the divergent validity of the questionnaires; Also, composite reliability (Dillon-Goldstein coefficient) was acceptable. SPSS and SmartPLS software were used for data analysis. The results showed that the effect of identification with the sports team (with a regression coefficient of 0.30 and a critical ratio of 18.48), technical sports identity (with a regression coefficient of 0.36 and a critical ratio of 2.00), social sports identity (with a regression coefficient of 27 0.0 and critical ratio 19.22) and sports moral identity (regression coefficient 0.30 and critical ratio 2.38) which are outside the range of ±1.96 and also due to obtaining a significance level smaller than 0.05 , is positive and significant on sports identity in taekwondo athletes of West Azarbaijan province.         The present study aimed to investigate the factors affecting the development of Taekwondo in Iran and the presentation model. The statistical population of the study consisted of all professors and faculty members of sport management, experts and managers of the ministry, and the affiliate of the sports championship of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, leaders and experts of the Taekwondo Federation and coaches of the Taekwondo team. In the qualitative part of the research, using the method of theoretical sampling with 25 people in the community, qualitative interviews were conducted to achieve theoretical saturation. In the small part, according to the uncertain size of the research community, using a Morgan table, 277 people were selected as sample size and random sampling was performed. The instrument for measuring the research in the qualitative section was semi-structured interview. In next stage, a researcher-made questionnaire was used. To obtain the validity of the questionnaire, the formal and content validity and construct validity were used, and for reliability, it was used Cronbach's alpha. The results of the research showed that seven factors including social and cultural factors, technology factors, economic factors, political factors, sports agents, management factors and places and equipment are effective on the development of the country's tactical skills. Therefore, it is recommended to pay special attention to all the factors identified in this study to develop sport for Iran. Manuscript profile

        The present study aims at prioritizing performance evaluation attributes in Iranian Taekwondo National Team coaches in the view of national athletes. The statistical sample was the same as the statistical population due to the low number of participants (n=61). A researcher-made questionnaire including seven sections was used as the instrument. Face validity and content validity were approved by eleven experts including university professors, National Taekwondo Team coaches, international referees, and Taekwondo experts and academics. Cronbach’s Alpha (α=93/0) and composite reliability (83/0) were used to evaluate instrument’s reliability. SPSS software and Friedman test were used for data analysis and coaching criteria ranking, respectively. Based on the findings, the criteria can be listed based on the order of significance as technique skills, managerial skills, technical skills, professional relationships, psychological skills, socio-communicational skills, and championship experience. With respect to these results, athletic managers in Taekwondo Federation should focus on technique and managerial skills before the other criteria for more development of Taekwondo. Manuscript profile
