The research was intended to examine The efficacy of positive thinking training on Iranian family process and mental well-being in female heads of households in Khoramshahr. The research population embraced all the female heads of households in Khoramshahr on 1401. The sample encased 30 of female heads of households whom were selected via purposive sampling procedure and randomly assigned in two experimental and control groups, 15 participants each. The research was designed as pretest posttest experimental one with two experimental and control groups. To collect data Family Process for the Iranian Families Scale (Samani, 2008) and The Well-being Scale (Ryff, 1989) were implemented. The experimental group exposed to positive thinking training intervention for 8 sessions with 90 minutes’ duration each. The control group received none. Then both groups were post tested. The data were analyzed by applying multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) and univariate analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). The results revealed that both groups differed significantly in family process (p<0.05, F=11.90). The results also indicated that there was a significant difference between experimental and control groups in mental well-being (p<0.05, F=13.85). It could be concluded that positive thinking training was effective on Iranian family process and mental well-being in female heads of households in Khoramshahr and it should be utilized to promote Iranian family process and mental well-being and consequently for cultural, social and economic development of the family and the society. Female infertility has devastating psychosocial consequences in the family and the use of psychological intervention to deal with this stressful situation is of great importance. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of family-based problem solving training on mental well-being of infertile women in Kermanshah. The quasi-experimental method was pretest-posttest with a control group. The statistical population included infertile women referring to infertility centers in Kermanshah; they were selected by purposive sampling method of 30 people and randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control group (15 people). Data was gathered through mental well-being measures including life satisfaction (Diner, 1985) and positive and negative emotions (Watson, 1988). First, the tools were completed by two experimental and control groups, then the experimental group received ten one-hour sessions problem-solving training, after the training, the post-test was performed and the data were analyzed by analysis of covariance. The results showed that the pretest-posttest values in the experimental group were significantly different compared to the control group. The findings of this study showed that problem solving training increased life satisfaction and positive emotion and decreased negative emotion in infertile women. Therefore family-based problem-solving education as coping strategy is effective in promoting the mental health of infertile women Manuscript profile

The quasi-experimental research method was pretest-posttest with control group. The statistical population included mothers with children with physical and motor disabilities and, as available, 30 people were selected and replaced in two experimental and control groups. The research tools were the Riff Psychological Short Scale Form (1998) and Volkman and Lazarus' (1988) coping strategies. The training group was trained in mindfulness, but the control group did not receive training. Then, the above variables were measured again in two groups. Data were analyzed using covariance analysis. The findings showed that psychological well-being and stress coping strategies improved significantly in the experimental group compared with the control group (p 0.0 0.05). The results of the present study showed that education was effective in the field of mindfulness, psychosocial well-being and coping strategies for mothers of physically disabled children. The questionnaire survey and study techniques for data collection, with a sample size of 400 are used. In this multi-stage cluster sampling method among young people aged 15-29 in Tehran we use. The correlation coefficients for Somers'd, Gamma and Regression analysis to analyze the data that we use spss software is embedded. The results show that the variables of social anomie (meaninglessness, powerlessness and fetishism of money) have the reverse effect of reducing the level of their mental well-being. This means that no matter how much social anomie and magnitude increase in levels of subjective well-being is diminished. Manuscript profile

Breast cancer is a chronic disease that it’s diagnose and treatment is accompanied with many psychological problems. Breast cancer is the most prevalent and most effective cancer in women, which causes deep emotional and affective problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the mediator role of cognitive emotion regulation strategies in the relationship between self- coherence and mental well-being in women with breast cancer. For this purpose in a descriptive-correlational research method 215 women with breast cancer who had undergone surgery at least once in Kerman in 2017 were selected through available sampling and tested with regard to the sense of coherence, cognitive emotion regulation and psychological well-being. The structural equation modeling showed that emotional regulation strategies mediate the relationship between self coherence and mental well-being through positive emotional regulation strategies. These results suggest that self coherence not only is a predictor of psychological well-being, but can also significantly influence mental well-being by the use of positive strategies of cognitive emotion regulation in women with breast cancer.
