Developmental structuralism in the sociology of literature is one of the new branches in contemporary literary research that sociologist and literary philosophers such as Lucien Goldman and his intellectual leader, George Lukács, have relied on this axis, and according to it, the dialectic of the attitude governing the author and the historical, social space Along with political economy, generalist criteria are proposed in terms of developmental structuralism and literary sociology. Naftah al-Masdoor by Zaydari Nesavi is one of the important literary works and a part of historical and social documents in Persian literature, which has survived since the 7th century, coinciding with the end of the Khwarezmshah era and the beginning of the Mongol era. The works of Najib Mahfouz, the famous Egyptian writer and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1988, are also about the type of social life of contemporary people and It is the rule of foreigners over his country and economic and cultural poverty. The present article studies the different aspects of Paris in the Lebanese novel in general and in Suhayl Idris’s Al-Hayy al-Latini in particular as a sample. This study examines the protagonist and al-Idrisi’s views of Paris as a beautiful western city and as one of the symbols of civilization and culture in modern Arabic literature. Whether the world is considered to be a psychological model or the symbol of a collective wholeor even a behavioralexample, all these concepts rely in their different forms on the necessity of analyzing man’s behavior and outcome based on a holistic view. This article attempts to apply the Romanian Lucien Goldmann’s views of external and foreign worlds to Suhail Idris’s views in Al-Hayy al-Latini. In sum, it could be concluded that Idris in this novel belongs to progressive socialism and reflects rebellion and insurgence through the protagonist all through the novel. Manuscript profile

The sociology of literature is the study of literary texts from a sociological point of view that illustrates the relationship between literature and social elements. In fact, this type of analysis examines the interplay between literature and society. A different reading of literary work is a two-way process between author and reader. It is important because literary traditions seek for absolutism of meaning, a one-dimensional view that the modern man does not tolerate, and in some way disgusts the reader. But critiques based on sociology as a new analysis make the reader's mind link to different aspects of the text's aesthetics. To this end, the novel by Isma’il Fasih Del Koor, which covers various prominent periods of Iranian history, including the years of Pahlavi rule and the constitutional revolution(Enghelabe Mashrouteh), has been critiqued sociologically to illustrate the relation of literature to the environment and social classes of that era. In this study, we first outline the theories of critique of sociology of literature and categorize sociological components from Goldmann, Lukacs, Bakhtin, and Escarpit's viewpoints and then apply them to the context of the author's intended community so that we can understand the life style of people, classes Different societies, especially the weak and low-income classes, their occupations, women's social status and their deprivation, historical issues, social infrastructure, lack of health, prevalence of diseases and famines, use of traditional medicine in lieu of up-to-date treatments, social injuries , Poverty, Prostitution, Rape, Violence, Usury, Acid Spraying, Religious Beliefs, Popular Beliefs Yeah, we better understand the superstitions of that era and ... It should be noted that this research has been done by "descriptive - analytical" method. Manuscript profile

Iran is an ancient civilized country. A search in its epic literature with venerable motifs and myths can lead us to trace back the track of many social phenomena of old-time societies in Iran, and so to claim this country to have been a community, especially one the members of which had had identity and their nationalism had always supported it. The literature produced in a community will fully reflect the ideas and introspections rooted in its social conditions. Revolution, as a social phenomenon and in its modern concept rather than uprising or rebellion, has been manifested in the story of Zahhak. This story of Zahhak and Kava is a mythical narration, and while the myths are so old that no social data could be found for them, then considering the social phenomena in Persian literary texts it can be concluded that revolution is as old as the ancient Iranian community. The present paper studies Kava’s fighting against Zahhak based on Lucien Goldmann’s theory of “Genetic Structuralism” in order to conclude that the social phenomenon of revolution had been chronicled in Iran before any other community Manuscript profile

Parinoush Saniee’s My Share, published in 2003, is an Iranian bestseller of recent years. A page-turner, the novel displays the atmosphere and milieu of Iran’s 1960s and afterwards, as well as the social condition for women during those days. The present research is to find an answer for the question of how the political, social, economic, and cultural factors have brought about the production of this novel. Considering the sociology of literature, in which the relation between political, social, economic and cultural structures and a certain literary work is studied in order to reveal the connection between literature and society, the researchers have tried to base the research on Lucien Goldman’s theory of ‘Genetic Structuralism” to discover the impression of social grounds and instigations on the writing of My Share, and also the role of women in social changes as pictured in it. To do so, the novel has been studied through two steps, i.e. firstly understanding the narration via the analysis of the characters, and then interpreting the story throughout the analysis of the then society. While the sociological structure of the novel is compatibly based on the social structure of the community, many elements of Goldman’s theories are true about it. Manuscript profile

Studies on Hindi style are often limited to items such as discussing delicate meanings, allegory, and so on, while other points, including the structure of the main frame of this style, that is, sonnet, have not been paid enough attention to. This study, based on Lucien Goldmann’s structure-orient developmental theory (emphasizing the relationship between the author’s worldview in the work and its structure), tries to examine the Hindi-style sonnet structure, its lack of cohesion, and the contradictions in its lines.    The present study shows that the poets’ ignoring wisdom in this style--inherited from Iraqi-style poets’ worldview-- along with their trivial view--being the result of their ignoring wisdom on the one hand, and their attempt to find delicate meanings on the other hand-- have resulted in these poets’ incoherent, nonsystematic, and contradictory worldview. This worldview is reflected in the internal incoherence, looseness of its basis, and contradictions in the lines of the Hindi-style sonnet.       Manuscript profile

In this article, the authors' efforts are a comparative study of the intellectual level of Hafez and Sanai's sonnets with an emphasis on Lucien Goldmann's theory of formative constructionism. In his own way, Goldmann tries to reveal the connection between the inner structure of the work and the intellectual construction (worldview) of the author's social class, and in his opinion, the stronger this relationship is, the greater its artistic validity. The mental structure of Sana'i society made his sonnets in terms of intellectual level fall into three categories: romantic, mystical, and intellectual, and the social structure of Hafez's time made his sonnets appear to the level of a reformist critical thinker. The results of research, by using the comparative method, indicate that the dominant intellectual level of Hafez's poems is to change the structure of the existing situation and realize justice, and the intellectual level of Sana'i poems, due to the inclusion of epistemic, situational and especially normative implications, is of dimensions and ability. It has important civil and political functions. Manuscript profile

Abstract         Lucien Goldmann introduces every literary work as a meaningful structure which is under the impact of its socio-economic problems in its own time. The true creator of a work is not an individual but the representative of the social group which the creator is one of its creative member. The Makhzanol Asrar has three distinct parts, each of which has meaningful structure. This research studies the current problems of its time with library method and descriptive-analytic approach about Nezami's military stance on the contemporary problems. To attain this aim, we initially explain the fundamental implications of incipient criticism of Lucien Goldmann, later on the stories which are investigable are selected and in two-level process they are explained; that's, having grasped the internal structure of each story, the generality of the work together with the comprehensive foundations of the time of composing are connected with each other and adducing to the historical resources the results of the studies showed that the view point of mystic-protesting of social groups of military was deviated from the fundamental social reality of its time and chaotic situation from the feudalism in Iran in the era of the Saljuques ( injustice, cruelty, massacre , plunder and leading the policy toward religion ) has encompassed the soul of the stories of  the Makhzanol Asrar like a halo.
