Media Entrepreneurship is a novel topic that has recently drawn the attention of scholars in the filed of entrepreneurship, media, and management. This domain investigates the topics related to media markets and entrepreneurs who are active in these markets, as well as a series of issues which are significantly influential. The role of social networks in development of entrepreneurship is of paramount importance, and these social networks pave the way for individuals who could potentially be entrepreneurs in the society. But, in order to investigate the effect of these social networks in more details one should measure the various dimensions of social networks. Thus, in this research we investigate the impact of social networks on entrepreneurial intentions. To do so, we used the bee house model as the theoretical framework. The research population includes firms in creative industries, and 236 questionnaires were filled. The research method was quantitative and Smart PLS was used to analyze the data. The results showed that identity, presence, sharing, fame, groups, relations and conversation positively affected entrepreneurial intention of respondents. Findings of the research could be used by policymakers and practitioners in the field of media, and promote the level of entrepreneurial attention in the society. Manuscript profile
