In this paper a non-linear model with fractional order is presented for analyzing and controlling the spread of HIV virus. Both the disease-free equilibrium and the endemic equilibrium are found and their stability is discussed. The basic reproduction number , which is a function of the constant parameters in the model, plays an essential role in the stability of the above model. In more precise expression, When the disease-free equilibrium is attractor, but when , is unstable and the endemic equilibrium exists and it is an attractor. Finally numerical simulations are also established to investigate the influence of the parameters in the model on the spread of the disease. Manuscript profile

HIV prevalence in recent years, on the one hand, and the lack of specific law for criminal negligence and punishment for those who spread HIV on the other hand, have caused to attract the attention to use penal institutions in this regard. Some titles like: transmission of sexually transmitted diseases, willful murder, quasi-intentional homicide, attempted murder, premeditated assault and battery as well as restoring to arms (in order to frighten people) are applicable in Iran, however, threats to public health seems not to be appropriate in this respect. The death of offender or victim of an offence for reasons rather than AIDS and acquittal of offender before death penalty calling by victim offended person, lead to punishment fall and retaliation in Islamic Penal System of Iran. The knowledge of victim of an offence of being HIV transmitter or infective, even his/ her primitive satisfaction, brings no legitimacy for offender of the act committed.                In this paper, the consumption behavior of the Urbanal households of the country in Iran has been studied over 1358-1380 through “Almost Ideal Demand System” model. The articles studied in five main groups include “foods, drinks and tobacco products”, “clothing and shoes”, “residence, fuel and electricity”, and “other goods and services”. To study the consumption behavior of city households, Almost Ideal Demand System (AIDS) has been used. The estimation of the mentioned system has been performed by SUR method. After estimating this model for various article groups of the country urban households, the related, intersecting and income price elasticity has been calculated. The results obtained from hypotheses test show that the homogeneous hypotheses denoting the lack of users’ monetary suspicion, impressibility of household consumption basket by the relative changes of prices, the necessity of article group of " food, drink and tobacco products " and " furniture ", the concordance of price related coefficients with the demand theory has been verified and the conjunction hypothesis (on the intersection effect of prices) is rejected. In most of empirical studies based on almost ideal demand system (Aids), the elasticity of the price and income estimated by these equations resulted to some sensitive policy making recommendations in microeconomics and macroeconomics. It is in such a case that there is some doubt about reliability of linear estimation of such models. In this study, the performance of linear and non-linear almost ideal demand system is under the investigation. For this purpose, seemingly unrelated regression (SURE) method will be applied to estimate linear model and multilayered feed forward neural network (MFNN) is used to estimate a non-linear one. The results indicate that multilayered feed forward neural network is associated with less error than the linear model, and consequently, leads to a better estimation of almost ideal demand system. This result creates some hesitate on application of Stone price index for linear zing estimation of almost ideal demand system. Therefore, it is suggested that feed forward neural network will be applied to estimate almost ideal demand systems. Manuscript profile

In this paper, an ultra-low-power, second-order, discrete-time sigma-delta converter is proposed for hearing aids application. In portable biomedical devices such as hearing aids that permanently use, the battery lifetime and power dissipation are very considerable. In a typical delta-sigma modulator, the OTAs are the most power-consuming parts. The OTAs elimination in the converters is now challenging. Therefore the converter with a self-biased fully differential inverter-based amplifier was designed with only 1.15 µw static power dissipation at a 1-volt power supply. The inverter-based amplifier was used instead of the OTAs in two stages of the modulator. The modulator’s structure is CIFB, single-loop, and single bit. The proposed differential modulator was designed and simulated using a standard 180 nm CMOS technology, which obtained SFDR and SNDR of 95.2878 dB and 64.004 dB, respectively. The sampling frequency is considered 2.56 MHz, and the input signal bandwidth is 10kHz. The modulator consumes power just about 5.1091 µW, and the FOMW achieves 0.197 pj/step. Manuscript profile

The emergence of drug resistance, therapeutic failure, and the development of Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections are primarily attributed to biofilm formation and quorum sensing (QS) dependent virulence factors. The antimicrobial potential of some non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen, has been determined in laboratory studies. Herein, a docking analysis was conducted to examine the interaction between seven NSAIDs and the proteins of the Las system. Initially, the three-dimensional structure of selected NSAIDs (Diclofenac sodium, Ibuprofen, Ketoprofen, Mefenamic acid, Meloxicam, Naproxen, and Tenoxicam), and natural ligand of LasR (3-oxo-C12-HSL) were retrieved from PubChem database. Also, crystal structures of LasI Synthase and transcriptional activator protein LasR were obtained from Protein Data Bank. Subsequently, the molecular docking analysis utilizing AutoDock Vina software was employed to investigate the capability of the selected NSAIDs to inhibit the LasI/LasR receptor. Based on our findings, the majority of the selected NSAIDs exhibited favorable interactions with LasI/R proteins. Moreover, ketoprofen exhibited the strongest interactions with both proteins. In summary, this work suggested that NSAIDs, especially ketoprofen and naproxen, have promising potential as candidates for further in vitro and in vivo investigations to inhibit the QS circuits of P. aeruginosa. Iran has experienced high food prices in recent years. This paper examines the welfare impacts of rising major food groups' prices on Iranian urban households using Quadratic Almost Ideal Demand System (QUAIDS) approach. The elasticity coefficients derived from QUAIDS are used to estimate Compensated Variations (CV).The study uses Iranian Household Expenditure and Income Survey (HEIS) raw data, encompassing both low and high price periods. Prices of all food and agricultural products increased during the entire survey period of 2004 to 2012. Based on our estimates, the food groups of cereals, dairy products, vegetable and pulses, Potables and Spices are necessary goods, as their budget elasticity is positive and below one at the same time. Meat, edible oils, fruits and dried fruits and Sugary products are luxury goods, with income elasticity above one. We find that the remarkable increases in food prices resulted in severe erosion of purchasing power for the Iranian urban households and they need to be compensated on average about 48% of their initial income for the food price changes they faced during the 2004 and 2012. In addition the high share of cereals in year 2012 implies that urban households shift their consumption to cheaper calorie source. This figure is confirmed with the decline in the share of meat, dairy Products, fruits and dried fruits, vegetables and pulses and potables expenditure. Manuscript profile

AbstractThe power industry as one of the fundamental industries plays an important role in economic development and welfare of society. With respect to the importance of electrical energy in application of modern technology and environmental issues, this paper aimed at estimating the almost ideal demand of electrical energy of Iran in industrial section. To do so, the data were gathered during a period of time 1350 to 1390 and regression model SUR was employed to identify price, income, an cross elasticity concerning demand of electrical energy in industrial section. The results demonstrated that electrical energy is taken into account as an essential commodity in industrial section. On the other hand, other energies cannot substitute the electrical energy in industry. Interestingly, due to the low elasticity of electrical energy, the policy of price increasing cannot be a good solution for reduction of electrical energy. Therefore, policies in the electric energy sector must first be non-price and income-based, and secondly, they must be done with special care, so as not to cause structural changes in the consumption of this strategic commodity. Based on the obtained results, it is suggested that the energy policy in the industry should first be non-price and have an income, and secondly, it should be done carefully, which will cause a structural change in the consumption of this strategic commodity.
