        Purpose: The purpose of this research is to survey the viewpoints of Tehran Islamic Azad University MLIS students about Iranian library and information science weblogs. Method: The method of this research is survey. Gathering information  tools  is a questionnaire made by the researcher . 144 questionnaire were e-mailed to  the students. The analysis of information was done by SPSS software. Findings: According to the achieved result: there is a high level of familiarity between these students with weblogs(70 percent), the correlation between the librarianship weblogs and the student's information needs is (66 percent) and also these weblogs have an increasing effect on the student's specific knowledge(79 percent).The following items were evaluated at low level: The student's motivation for using weblogs is (43 percent), the positive points of weblogs(36 percent). Conclusion: Finally, the knowledge and information science students are satisfied moderately with the Iranian library and information science weblogs .At the end some suggestions for improving the positive points of weblogs are offered Manuscript profile

          This study aimed to assess the impact of web-based learning (weblog) with a problem-solving approach on reflective thinking development in English language students of Islamic Azad University of Ardabil. Reflective thinking questionnaire designed by Kember et al. (1999) based on mezirow theory (1991) was used for data gathering. A pre-test and post –test was conducted for both experimental (N=15) and control groups (N=15) who were selected by cluster sampling method. Results showed that there was a significant difference between the two groups concerning understanding, reflection and critical thinking (t-test, a=0.05). Therefore, this study confirmed the positive effect of web-based learning on student's reflective thinking development. Manuscript profile

        هدف از انجام تحقیق حاضر این بود که اولا کدامیک از ابزارهای اینترنتی موجود از قبیل بلاگها، ویکی ها و پادکستها میتوانند بطور موثرتری به یادگیری نگارش دانشجویان زبان انگلیسی کمک کنند ودوما آیا جنسیت دانشجویان نقش مهمی در عملکرد بهتر آنان ایفا میکند یا خیر. بدین منظور، 156 دانشجوی سال دوم رشته زبان که در دانشگاههای آزاد اسلامی واحد شیراز، آباده و غیرانتفاعی زند تحصیل مینمودند انتخاب شدند. پس از اینکه دانشجویان به سه گروه تقسیم شدند ، یک پیش آزمون نگارش گرفته شد و نتیجه نشان داد که همه دانشجویان از نظر توانایی نگارش انگلیسی همگون هستند. به هر کدام از این سه گروه آموزش نگارش با استفاده از ابزار اینترنتی ویژه ای داده شد: یک گروه از طریق وبلاگ، گروه دوم ویکی و سومین گروه پادکست. پس از یک دوره دوماه و نیم، دانشجویان دریک پس آزمون نگارش شرکت کردند. مقایسه اختلاف نمرات پیش و پس آزمون نشان داد علیرغم اینکه که قدرت نگارش دانشجویان در هر سه گروه افزایش داشته، از نظر آماری تفاوت عملکرد آنان در گروههای مختلف معنادار نبوده است. بدین ترتیب، هر سه ابزار اینترنتی به یک نسبت به یادگیری نگارش دانشجویان کمک نموده است. از طرف دیگر نتایج حاصل از این تحقیق نمایانگر این بود که جنسیت دانشجویان هیچ نقشی در عملکرد آنان در گروههای مختلف نداشته است. نتایج حاصله از این مطالعه به مدرسین زبان کمک میکند تا از ابزارهای موجود در اینترنت بخصوص ابزارهای یاد شده، در جهت ارتقاء دانش زبانی فراگیران ،صرفنظر از جنسیت آنان، استفاده نمایند.  Manuscript profile

        فناوری اطلاعات امروزه به طور فزاینده ای در زندگی ما ونظام آموزش و پرورش  وارد شده است. زبان آموزان معمولا مشتاق کار با کامپیوترها یا یادگیری با استفاده ازانواع مختلف تکنولوژی مدرن هستند.  این تحقیق به منظور یافتن تاثیر استفاده از وبلاگ روی یادگیری لغت و مهارت نوشتن بود. برای این منظور دو گروه از دانش اموزان  از طریق آزمون بسندگی   OPT بعنوان گروه کنترل و ازمایش انتخاب شدند که این دانش اموزان، درسطح متوسط یک اموزشگاه  زبان در شهرکرد تحصیل میکردند. روشهای سنتی تدریس لغت و نگارش برای گروه کنترل استفاده شد و از بلاگ برای گروه ازمایش استفاده شد. بعد از سه ماه اموزش، یک تست لغت و نگارش بمنظور ارزیابی لغات و انشای  زبان اموزان برگزار شد. با استفاده از  ازمون آنکوا نشان داده شد که استفاده از وبلاگ موثرتر از روشهای سنتی  اموزش لغت و نوشتن در میان زبان اموزان ایرانی است.         The incorporation of asynchronous computer based communication in and out of the classroom is currently in need of a research. In present study the implementation of this technique to improve language grammar knowledge and students' interest have been investigated. To do this research, two high-schools, almost leveled, among all of the male high-schools in tabriz, through cluster random sampling with a control group(30 students) receiving traditional instruction and (30 students) as experimental group using bligging for nine sessions were choen. The research method was quasi-experimental.To collect the data the teacher made post and pre-assessment were used. To test the hyotheses, analysis of ANCOVA was used.Grammar and pupils' interest were significant but the reading comprehension was not. The result showed the students’high interest to language learning. Grammar points have encouraged them to produce language more accurately and to be more concerned abaut correctness.It could be conecluded that blogs as a social medium for learning language skills can have an important role.Therefore, the findings of this research show that the blogging has strong effect on English language learning.         The present study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of using blogs as an educational aid in the environmental education of high school students. The method of the study was quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest, and a control group. The statistical population was all the high school students of Ramhormoz. Using Kerjesy and Morgan's sample size table, a sample of 88 students was selected. Using stratified random sampling method, the students were placed in 4 groups of girls and boys (2 intervention groups, 2 control groups, each group 22 persons). The data-collecting tool was a researcher made questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results indicated that there was a significant difference in knowledge, attitude and environmental behavior between the control and experimental groups, hence a significant difference between the two groups with respect to environmental knowledge. Also, a significant difference was discovered in males compared to females, which showed effectiveness in males was higher. The findings witnessed the efficacy of blogging as an educational aid for environmental education in the experimental group. Manuscript profile

        After the emergence of the Internet, we have observed the appearance of new trends in the World Wide Web. One of the most outstanding events that has become so widespread during recent years is "Weblog", a new medium, which recently came to existence and became familiar all over the world. Today, thousands of weblogs, with different topics and millions of visitors exist, exchanging a great amount of information and thoughts. It has been recently announced that one weblog is made per second. However, using this informative and communicative technology makes a big challenge in the issues related to the editor’s rights. In fact, free access to the sources violates the laws concerning the editor’s rights. Now, this question is put forward: How is copyright in weblogs as a member of the big family of Internet? And also how are the webloggers rights observed? There are various perspectives regarding the necessity of observing editors’ rights in weblogs and how to force bloggers to consider this point.
