        A model for life skills of digital generation in Iran (High school level). The study has been done to promote life skills of the digital generation. The purpose of this study is exploratory and its method is descriptive survey. Key factors of life skills have been determined on the basis of the review of related literature. Then a questionnaire has been created in 10 scales, its content validity has been confirmed according to educational experts. After modification, the revised questionnaire has been conducted in Tehran’s high schools. Sample population is both female and male students of high school as well as their teachers. Sampling is based on stratified multistage. Collected data has been analyzed through factor analysis, one sample t-test, paired t-test, Friedman test.         Purpose of this investigation is identifying ““ Success amount of training rules and skills of Islamic life (:Dignity Project) for obtaining skill ability in solving problems among students of grade 5 in elementary school ( case study: zone 6 of Tehran education ) in viewpoint of teachers.” Statistical population of this investigation are teachers of grade 5 in elementary school of zone 6 of Tehran , who have taught rules and skills of Islamic life  (generosity plan) to 92 students in 2011-2012 educational year. Statistical sample of this investigation is based on Kokaran sampling as 63 people. They used questionnaire as a tool for collecting required data for this investigation. Descriptive research method is measurable kind. Data analysis was done in two descriptive and inferable levels. Results of data analysis showed that in viewpoint of teachers, student’s interest to learn solving problem skill is in high level. In addition, students have learnt how to know problem, data collecting skill, producing ability and creating various solutions and implementing these solutions by average. In addition, students have learnt in high level how to review various problems and choosing the best solution, ability of assessing various chosen solutions and solving problem jointly. Totally, results of this research showed that in viewpoint of teachers, the students who are in this study, are able to solve problem averagely. Manuscript profile

        Investigate the effectiveness of training of social skills on social security and mental health among adolescents in Ahvaz Amir Dahanzadeh Mohammad Borna Abstract The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of training of social skills on social security and mental health among adolescents in Ahvaz. The simple consisted of 30 adolescents who were chosen by by requesting people to attend the research. The subjects were asigned to experimental and control group, randomly. The research design was pretest-posttest with control group. The subjects answered social security questionnaire and general health questionnaire. Then, experimental group was trained during 10 session (120-houre per a session) but control group didn’t receive any information. To analysis the data, MANCOVA method was used via SPSS-23. The results showed that training of social skills had been impacted the social security and mental health among adolescents in Ahvaz.         Women, as half of human resources in societies, are an effective factor in advancing the goals of society and the family. Studies show that women are more vulnerable than men to discrimination and reduced social security, which is one of the most fundamental aspects of life in today's society. Therefore, the present study was conducted to analyze the relationship between social health, communication skills and life skills with women's social security. The method used in this study was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of the study was all women referring to the affairs of martyrs and martyrs. Based on Krejcie and Morgan table, 250 people were selected by convenience sampling. The required data were collected using the questionnaires of social security sense of Sahabi (2010), social health of Keys (1998), communication skills of lawyer and colleagues (2012) and deductive life skills and data analysis using Analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis were performed. The results showed; Social health dimensions are able to predict changes in women's social security. In addition, the variable of social participation has a greater effect on social security. Also, the dimensions of communication skills are able to predict changes in social security and the variable of interpretation and clarity of the audience's speech has a greater effect on social security.         The purpose of the present study was to compare the effects of social skills training and life skills (assertiveness, problem solving and anger control) on addiction preparedness, aggression, and attitude toward substance use among 9th grade female students in Ahvaz. This study was a field trial with pre-test and post-test with control group. The statistical population of all the ninth grade female students of Ahwaz city were 60 girl students who were selected by multistage random sampling. The instruments used were: Addiction Preparation Scale, Addiction Attitude Questionnaire and Ahwaz Aggression Scale. Descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Mancova, one-way analysis of variance, and Bonferroni post hoc test) were used for data analysis. The results showed that social skills and life skills training had a significant effect on decreasing addiction readiness, changing attitudes towards drugs and decreasing aggression among students. Also, life skills training had a more significant impact than social skills training on decreasing drug readiness, changing attitudes toward substance use and aggression. It can be said that teaching social skills and life skills to students has a significant role in preventing social harm, especially addiction. Manuscript profile

        Background: An individual’s creativity, potentials, and abilities are manifested in his thoughts, ideas, writings, behaviors, and actions and are among the fundamental requirements for today’s complicated, swift modern life. Creativity is one of the characteristics that can ideally be developed and nurtured during an individual’s early years of life. Undoubtedly, part of the educational system’s inefficiency is due to its failure to pay adequate attention to creativity. All educational systems should provide children with considerable opportunities to develop their creativity. Objective: The present study aimed at investigating the effects of life skills education through storytelling on creativity among primary schoolchildren. Methodology: The study was based on the pre-test post-test experimental design with a control group. The research population consisted of all third-grade female students attending primary schools in the City of Qazvin in 2012-2013 school year. Multi-stage sampling was used to select the sample. The sample was subsequently divided into two groups, i.e., control group and experimental group. Next, the experimental group received training in six 30-45-minute sessions. The Torrance Test of Creative Thinking (TTCT) (Form B) was used as the data collection tool both before and after introducing the independent variable into the experimental group. The collected data were analyzed through ANCOVA (analysis of covariance) test. Findings: The findings showed that there was a significant different between the samples belonging to control and experimental groups (p < 0.05). This significant difference was observed in three components of creativity, namely, fluency, flexibility, and originality. Conclusion: The results indicated that life skills education through storytelling promotes creativity among primary schoolchildren. Manuscript profile

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Psychological capital of adolescents of Tehran in 2018. Methodology: The method used in this study was applied in terms of purpose and in terms of data collection, a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest design with control group and random sampling.  The statistical population consisted of all high school students. Using a stage random sampling method, 30 students in both experimental and control groups (15 people) and control (15 people) were considered as sample size. The experimental group received 10 sessions of 90 minutes of life skills training, and the control group did not receive any treatment. In order to collect information, Psychological capital Luthanz inventory (2007) were used. To assess the reliability of the questionnaire, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used and the coefficient for each questionnaire was higher than 0.7. Content validity was also used to assess the validity of the questionnaire, which was approved by the relevant experts.  Data analysis was performed using SPSS software in two sections: descriptive and inferential (covariance analysis).   Findings: The results of the research hypothesis test showed that life skills training, 19.7% in self-efficacy, 23.2% in hope explanation and 17.1% in explaining the resilience of the experimental group played a role. But in the optimism of the experimental group, it was not effective (P = 0.904). Conclusion: The overall results indicated that life skills training on psychological capital of adolescents was effective. Manuscript profile

Life skills required in this research, interpersonal communication skills, social, mental and cognitive skills, interpersonal skills and life skills and citizenship.         The purpose of this study was to assess the necessity and the vacuum of living skills of high school students. The research questions were designed considering the assessment of the life skills of high school students in Tehran based on demographic characteristics (gender, field of study, basic education, educational area). The type of research was applied in terms of purpose and in terms of method, descriptive survey. The statistical population of this study includes all secondary school students with 25415 people who were selected by stratified cluster random sampling method in 209 subjects. In this study, 40 questions of closed-ended responses with 5-point likert scale and interviews were used in four life questions questionnaires. Validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by content. The reliability coefficient of life skills questionnaire was estimated 0.84% ​​using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Data analysis was done using descriptive and inferential level statistical software. The findings showed that the mean of life skills in problem solving, decision making, communication, global citizenship, participation, cooperation and information technology was lower than average. There is no significant difference between students' life skills based on gender, field of study, education level and educational area. Manuscript profile

        Objective: The aim of this study was to provide a mental health promotion model for elementary students based on life skills training and triangular factors.Methodology: The statistical population in the quantitative section of elementary teachers working in Rafsanjan city includes 1457 people. Using Cochran's formula, the number of samples was estimated at least 304 people and were selected using simple random sampling method. In order to better explain the results and reveal the neglected cases in the quantitative phase, 13 in-depth interviews in the qualitative section were conducted using purposive sampling method in the form of snowballs. Data collection tool on life skills training components and triangular factors, a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was measured by confirmatory factor analysis as well as face validity and reliability by calculating Cronbach's alpha with values ​​of 0.830 and 0.81, respectively. And the executive model of the research were analyzed using the data collected through a questionnaire as well as descriptive statistics, inferential statistics and structural equation modeling.Results: The research model was presented with 15 components of life skills and 10 components of triangular factors. On the other hand, teaching life skills in a group way can facilitate academic progress. Management of life skills can lead to academic success and growth of students.Therefore, the main purpose of the present study was to investigate the effectiveness of group-based life skills training on the self-efficacy and academic optimism of the 11th grade students of the second period of high school for boys in Ilam city. The current study was a semi-experimental one, in which 30 students were selected from the second grade male students using random sampling method. Research tools included self-efficacy and academic optimism questionnaires. Data analysis was done by multivariate covariance analysis using SPSS-22 software. Teaching life skills in a group manner had a favorable and positive effect on increasing academic self-efficacy (0.550) and academic optimism (0.405) in the eleventh grade students of the second period of high school in boys' schools in Ilam city.           Abstract The interactive effectiveness between Spiritual Intelligence (SQ) and life skills training (LST) on improving attitudes of university students to life skills were carried out in a randomized block designs study. At first, 166 male & female university students were randomly selected out of 11370 students at Islamic Azad University in Borujerd. Then attitude to life skills questionnaire (Ahadi, 1386), and Spiritual Intelligence questionnaire (Naseri, 1386) were filled out by the subjects. On the basis of the results of the Spiritual Intelligence questionnaire (higher or lower than the mean), the subjects were divided into four groups. There were two experimental groups, one with a higher score on SQ and the other with a lower score on SQ and two control groups under the same situation. The experimental groups in two separate classes of students with higher and lower score on SQ took part in 16 sessions of 3 hours of the LST, in a time span of 8 weeks. At the end of the course, subjects filled out the attitude to life skills questionnaire as the post test. Finally, after four months in order to figure out the stability or possible changes in the results, once more, in a follow- up study, the attitude to life skills questionnaire was administered. The results of statistical test of Independent-Samples t-test indicated that LST have a significant effect on improving attitudes of university students to life skills, though in an interaction with SQ, the two aforementioned factors have no significant effect on those.         The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of life skills training on self-regulation and self-efficacy of Tehran students in 1397. The method used in this study was applied in terms of purpose and in terms of data collection, a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest design with control group and random sampling. The statistical population consisted of all fmale secondary school students who were randomly selected. A sample of 24 students in two experimental groups (12 people) and control (12 people) were considered as the sample size. The experimental group received 8 life skills training sessions, and the control group did not receive any treatment.. In order to collect information, two self-regulation questionnaires (Pintrich et al., 1991) and self-efficacy questionnaire (Shirer et al., 1982) were used. To assess the reliability of the questionnaire, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used and the coefficient for each questionnaire was higher than 0.7. Content validity was also used to assess the validity of the questionnaire, which was approved by the relevant experts. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software in two sections: descriptive and inferential (covariance analysis). Findings showed that life skills training increased self-regulation of students, Based on the results of the findings, life skills training increased self-efficacy among students. Therefore, it seems that life skills training can promote self-regulation of students and provide effective techniques to increase self-efficacy. Manuscript profile
