Norms are in the position of power and seek victory, and make human to obey by creating domination over thought. The intellectual knows how to stand against bad norms and strive to achieve the desired intellectual conditions. In Herbert Blumer's "symbolic interactionism" methodology, human arises in the empirical world of society. In this sociological approach, the intellectual is a proactive whose action is based on interpretation in socio-political situations and whose role is defined in defending or rejecting norms. The "Her Eyes" novel shows a picture of the first Pahlavi’s history in which the "social self" is a combination of traditionalist and modern self. Group interests take precedence over individual’s. An intellectual is a modernist who is proactive in the struggle against the authoritarian political system. The "Blind Heart" novel narrates the first and second Pahlavi’s era. The "social self" in the mentioned novel is the passive and violent "self." In the world of novels, individual interests take precedence over social’s. The intellectual acts based on of kindness and peace confronting “social self”. Manuscript profile

Religious intellectuals after the revolution, by turning towards some European philosophical schools, such as analytical philosophy, adjusted their intellectual opinions based on them. Although their main discussion was to pay attention to religious categories such as "religious knowledge", "dynamic jurisprudence" and, in the political dimension, "religious government", their extra-religious attitude and headed by Abdul Karim Soroush were based on those schools. The two categories of language and the issue of interpretation are important components of this extra-religious view. The present study, with the aim of knowing these two components in the intellectual opinions of Soroush, based on what has been raised in the thought of philosophers such as Wittgenstein and Gadamer, deals with the question of what language and the problem of interpretation, in the thought of Wittgenstein and Gadamer, is a reflection in the intellectual opinions. Did they have a drink? By using a philosophical component of language and interpretation, Soroush pays attention to redefining the relationship between reason and religion in his intellectual views, and in the interpretation of holy texts and also religious foundations, he takes advantage of new exegetical achievements and the three categories of "religious knowledge", "jurisprudence" It offers "dynamic" and "religious democratic government" and it can be said that it does this with a kind of "dialogue" between the foundations of religious knowledge and the two categories of "language" and "interpretation". Religious modernity in Iran arose after the emergence of new philosophical ideas in the West and was influenced by the arrival of sparks of modernity in the country. Although the technological advances and manifestations of western civilization had attracted attention, but for some the spirit and philosophical and ideological foundations of the innovative thoughts and ideas of that land had become more and more attractive. The constitutional movement also broadened the horizons of this vision and provided the ground for the emergence of a diverse range of religious modernists; A group that sought to purify religion from extremes and superstitions, to individuals and groups who doubted the principles of religion and believed in purity. The purpose of this article is to explain the epistemological foundations and how the paradigm of religious modernity was formed in Iran; Assuming that religious modernity in Iran emerged as a synthesis of the challenge of tradition and modernity from active post-constitutional discourses. This critical investigation addresses Arian marriage/marriage contract within the framework of post-Qajar Farsi language framework and deals with its functions in Iranian/Islamic family institution issues. In the context of the current research, the subject has been treated as a syndrome of (post-Qajarid anti-structuralist) Arianism. The research has also been shaped by an interpretation of Heideggerian linguistic approach (paradigmatic motor concept). We have argued that language is not only a field and instrument of research but it also is the essence of social existence and the house of being. Social realities also exist in and through language. Hence, Arian marriage contract has a linguistic reality and with its claims and linguistic excuses it should be understood within the context of post-Qajarid era. Using a grand theory perspective, the current research resulted in some axiomatic findings: it seems that this racist construct is fed by and is related to the linguistic products of other anti-structuralist constructs. This formal and functional relationship between Arian construct and other anti-structuralist constructs has threatened the very ethical/national security. Its explicit malfunctioning can be integrated with the internal and international affairs and finally result in destructionof the family institution and social order. It has been argued that political/ideological provocations can be combined with the dominant consumerist spirits, the propaganda from marriage service instituions and commodification of marriage ceremony in this post-modern atmosphere and facilitate the spread of Arian marriage in society.          Intellectual developments of the Arab world should be analyzed with respect to the sociopolitical challenges the Arab world has experienced ups and downs throughout its long history. By studying this development, we discover the occurrence of triad scholarly approaches: retro respective, secularism and Conformity. Arabic retrospective approach by reference to the religious texts and holly Quran words as its face meaning applies with interpretation avoidance tries to revive Islam with its Arabic heritage without the tendency of applying the rationality of modern western civilization. Arabic secularism, with its various lines of thoughts, proposes the separation of religion from politics and application of western rationality in politics. Arabic conformity approach with having complete faith in Islamic principles tries to provide a flexible interpretation of Islamic principles for their conformity to that of western principles if such necessity arises in order to avoid obsoleteness of principle in mind. Holding a novel and different approach, this study aims to investigate the nature of both social identity construction and social system development as two subjective and challenging issues in a dialectic process and based on an integrative sociological and socio-psychological approach in the light of three theoretical perspectives at macro, micro and medium scales (vis-a- vis mainly the suggested subjective orientations).. The main question addressed is whether individuals’ sense of social identity construction subject to Facilitating Factors of youths' Social Identity Construction in Social System. To this end, facilitating factors of social system-based construction among youths was addressed with a sample of 445 probability stratified sampling selected students from Tehran University. Attending this field study, they attempted a researcher-made tablet-rendered valid and reliable questionnaire. Content and construct validity measures of the instrument were measured through expert judgment and factor analysis, respectively and its reliability was estimated through Cronbach alpha correlational analysis. One sample parametric t-test and Binomial test-based analyses of the data supported the main hypothesis predicting that social system through precipitating factors has no effective role (T=21/45) on identity construction of youth. This study mainly suggests a scientific, different and comprehensive applied model for social identity construction on the basis of facilitating factors of social system. Manuscript profile

Abstract Pierre Bourdieu (1930-2002) is the most prominent figure in the French sociology that put an end to the hegemony of social action and structuralize theories in the field of sociology. He propounded Structural Constructivist Theory of politics through dialectical relationships between "fields" and "habits". Bourdieu's broad socio-anthropological and interrelation approach to power stands as opposed to the traditional academic political science discipline which emphasizes on the actual and objective operation of the political institutions (one of the legacies of the behavior list school) as well as on the more visible aspects of governing operations (elections, laws, policies, parties, etc). By contrast, Bourdieu as a sociologist and anthropologist approached the topic of power by stressing the social and cultural bases of power at the micro-as well as macro- levels. Naturally, this complicated view may not neglect analyzing electoral and democratic politics as doxa (dominated common belief) in political filed. Based on his critical view to current electoral democracies, Bourdieu emphasizes that delegation of power and political representation, despite the presence of the media and the press, inevitably leads to usurpation and manipulation of democracy. What does Bourdieu suggests as an alternative to representative democracies as a dominated doxa in political field? Bourdieu propounds the idea of "Real Democracy" which includes different dialectical categories as an alternative way to democratization of democracy in current societies.    Manuscript profile
