The acquisition of knowledge about the vegetation plays an important role in soil management.  However, vegetation estimating in the usual way, including an overall assessment of the vegetation is  time consuming and does not also provide accurate enough information. Therefore, remote sensing technology is a desirable way for reducing time and cost compared to other usual methods. In this study, forest cover maps were prepared using remote sensing techniques and  LandSat ETM+ imagery of year 2000 and LandSat 8 of year 2013. The classification of the study area digital images was performed  to prepare  land use map classification using maximum likelihood and neural network with participation of different bands. The results showed that the best overall accuracy of image classification using neural networks ETM+ in 2000 and LandSat 8  in 2013  was 0.95 and 0.95 respectively. It was also indicated that the kappa coefficient was estimated 0.91 and 0.91 respectively. The overall accuracy of maximum likelihood method of the collected images of  2000 and 2013 was  0.95 and 0.85, but it was 0.86 and 0.84 for Kappa statistics method. The results also showed a 1054.507 and 635.319 hectares decreasing of forest cover using  neural network classification  and maximum likelihood classification methods respectively. According to classification accuracy and Kappa statistics, it was observed that the accuracy and kappa coefficient of neural network classification was higher than accuracy and the Kappa coefficient of maximum likelihood method. One of the sustainable development strategies is the development of tourism activities. Determining the tourism values and natural talents of the region along with proper planning can lead to the development of economic revenues through tourism. One of the most important solutions for utilizing natural and human resources and scientific exploitation, without harming the environment, is the optimal location of recreational and residential areas. Rudsar county due to its tourism location, natural and historical attractions are known as one of the most important places of tourism to satisfy these tourists to suit every class and class at any time of the year. Be sure to return to the city and reside in the hotel if the customers are satisfied. This research is a descriptive-analytical one and the method of data collection is library and field study. In this research, we try to locate tourist accommodation centers in Rudsar city using ANP-VIKOR model. The state-of-the-art ANP-VIKOR model is a hierarchical analysis process and a set of criteria used to compare interactions that may exist in the network. In the locating process, using hierarchical analysis, after determining hierarchical levels including purpose, criteria, sub-criteria and options, pairwise comparisons between sets are made for weighting. As well as weighting the collections, the compatibility analysis of the judgments is also performed. The proposed method deals with identifying variables, matrix formation, layer normalization, weighting of criteria and weighting of layers, determination of positive and negative ideal and calculation of hotel accommodation value. The results showed that the most important criterion of hotel location is the altitude and the least weight belongs to the power transfer criterion. Manuscript profile

In this research, a field study was conducted to investigate the development of rural tourism in Bozkoyeh village in Rudsar which is located in the East of Gilan Province. In order to identify the various factors required, the strengths and weaknesses of the understudy area were used to complete the questionnaire. Based on the initial information obtained and using Cochran's test, 100 samples were collected and 77 samples were selected. The questionnaires of this research were randomly distributed among the people who visited this area in the spring of 2020. In this study, Cronbach's alpha method was used to calculate the reliability of the questionnaire, which is used to determine and calculate the reliability of the test. The SPSS software was used to calculate the Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The results of the test for 77 samples showed that the coefficiency estimate was 0.75. In order to develop tourism in this region, there are some weaknesses such as the poor condition in the road, as well as the situation of light and lighting at night which indicate that this village lacks the necessary requirements to be developed as a tourism village. Also, tourists create problems for the natives and residents as well as for themselves which can gradually cause lack of cooperation among the natives in implementing scientific tourism studies in future.
