The main duty of literature is to affect audiences’ emotions. Poem is often a reflection of its creator’s emotional state. Thus, affection as one of the spiritual elements of poem is considered the most important artistic constituent. It is as a bridge connecting the outer and inner aspects of its creator that has the greatest influence on the audience; In this respect, it seems vital to analyze and investigate the aforementioned element compared to other effective ones. This study aims to recognize the two sightless poets’ themes and thoughts in terms of common affection that is due to their physical defects; differences and similarities of their perspectives could lead to more understanding and to help intercultural interactions, affinity of civilizations and betterment of the world piece. In this study through a descriptive-analytical approach, we intends to investigate the ways to transfer affections, emotions, induction of meaning  as well as poetic tools such as simile, metaphor, sensuality and illustration. Our findings show sensuality or the element of affection is the main commonality between the two poets.  This element is more rigorous when one realizes that their blindness not only has not caused limitations, but also has enabled them to be distinctive from other sighted poets. Mahmoud Moshref Azad Tehrani was one of the greatest poets of fortieth decade. The study of imagination in his poems as an impressive poet in modern poetry caused the discovery of his innovation in the field of imagination and revealed some aspects of emotions, feelings and social problems. In this research which is taken by taking note and library method, three hypotheses were the bases of work. One hypothesis was that Moshref as well as other contemporary poets has paid more attention to detection element among imagery elements and he has paid more attention to nature and tangible objects among constructive elements of imagery. Another hypothesis was that the emotions which are mixed with his imagination and have caused his poetic experiences were not personal emotions but social ones and they were derived from pains, sufferings and his joint hopes with people of his society and Moshref was a poet who could create beautiful images and take responsibility toward his society as an artist. Lyrical poetry is one of the most important literary genres in the history of literary criticism. In the history of literature of any land, there are poems that were composed with or to accompany music, and on the other hand, there are simple, emotional and musical poems that have emerged from the heart of the general public and have become the official source of lyrical poems. Influenced by the romantic definition of lyrical poetry, Iranian scholars have often considered this type of poetry as poems that express personal feelings and emotions and the personal "I" of the speaker. In lyrical poetry, romantic themes are presented with a cover of arrays and based on the poet's personal feeling. Poetic images are the result of linking the poet's emotional experiences with the phenomena and events around him. In this literary genre, the structure of poetic images is particularly similar to the definition of image in literary language. This research has tried to recount in a descriptive-analytical way the original manifestations of lyrical literature in Baluchi love poems. Ancient Baluchi poetry is more narrative, and the surviving works are epic and love stories or important historical events that poets have written in short and semi-long poems. Manuscript profile

Romanticism is an important move in the history of art and global thinking. In the present study, nature, imagination, and freedom have been selected from among the significant elements of romanticism based on the high frequency in the poems by Lord Byron and Simin Behbahani. Taking the relationship between and among these elements into account, it could be seen that the tendency towards nature, imagination and freedom play basic roles compared with the other elements of romanticism. The results of a comparative analysis of the aforementioned elements show that, although different in terms of geography, history, culture, and gender, these two poets have some things in common which stem from a common understanding of the nature of romanticism. The results of the present descriptive-analytic study indicated that imagination is a basic issue linked with other poetic elements. Unlike Byron who cannot literarily configure freedom as a specific issue despite his great efforts, freedom could be found in Behbahani’s poems admiring woman as a gender. However, the relationship between these elements in the poem of both poets similarly show that nature is an eternal source for imagination while showing freedom whereas the very imagination represents the freedom of soul and thought in romanticism. Surrealism is a school that appeared in France in the twentieth century. It has the principles that most important of them are as follows: dream and imagination, automatic writing, juxtaposition, insanity and magic. Although surrealism was introduced in Europe, its features have been seen in other cultures, especially in Iranian mysticism. It can be said that before the emergence of surrealism in Europe, Iranian Sufis have created valuable works with surrealist themes. There are deep differences between these works and western ones that indicate the originality of Iranian surrealism. Masnavī-ye Ma’navī of Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī has proposed surrealistic themes but they have remarkable differences with Western surrealist ones. The present article attempts to show these differences and similarities. The differences show the primacy and superiority of the Iranian version of surrealism. These differences include Divine grace (Karāmat), magic, the Truth, reality and Divine intoxication. Manuscript profile

According to the theory of Carl Gustav Jung, every man has an eternal image of woman in his unconscious that, in his psychological heritage, is sediment of all his experiences about woman in all ages. Jung calls this image anima. Learning about symbolic type is the only way to understand the archetype, for the archetype of anima is revealed in human conscious in a symbolic way. With decreasing level of consciousness, anima, as a universal symbol and like other archetypes, enters conscious by dreams, imaginative inventions, myths, literature then it is revealed. Literary texts are full of archetypal images and anima. ‘Murder of lovers’, ‘sensual imaginations’, ‘sensitivity of men’ as three negative manifestations of anima in Jung’s theory have been presented in Iranian cultural elements like literature and myths. The present article tries to analyze these manifestations by using analytic-descriptive method and library sources.   Manuscript profile

Abstract         Although the magic realism is considered a modern style in story-writing, it has one thousand years of background and has well-established in our literary works. There is no doubt that the extensive treasure of mythology that is reflected in magic-evasive content of the Shahnameh can have a great share in proving this matter. Ferdowsi is a realist who by taking advantage of this magic realistic themes has created the fables such as Haft Khan. He includes the reality of his present day in an ultra logic bed of the accidents to open a door of knowledge to his readers. We are to deal with the themes of magic realism in a descriptive-analytical method, and conclude that magic reflects a vast spectrum of ancient beliefs in the fables of the Haft Khan. At the same time it talks about the facts that is called insurgence in the hard trials of life. So, we try, by exploring the magic realistic themes, in the Haft Khan to find how this tie is taking place , what seems clear, is that the Haft khan has its roots in the seven ceremonies of Mehr. Therefore, utilizing the elements of fantasy, this epic work seems fabulous, and this specific quality focuses on its magical realism. The whole fables of the Haft Khan are the reflection of Jung's thoughts. The last point, in the process of the story, emphasizes on the political wisdom of ancient Iran in which the king is a basic column in people's lives. Manuscript profile

One comes across the story of "Removing the crown in between two lions" as a symbolic narrative in two eternal works of Hakim Ferdowsi and Nezami with striking similarities and slight differences. This research studies the function of Lion's imagery in Shahnameh Ferdowsi and Haft Paykar Nezami based on Gilbert Durand's theory. Durand's view towards myth is a particular one and has a different function. According to him myths are the most significant manifestation of imagination, and imagination is also composed of symbolic imagery. Applying the structures delineated by this great contemporary theoretician to this story in both Shahnameh and Haft Paykar, the symbolic imagery of the story is described and also how the imagination led to the creation of these imageries in the mind of their composers is accounted on.
