The development of cities that are socially, environmentally, and economically stable, capable of addressing the challenges posed by rapid population growth and migration, stands as a central task in this century. Over the past few decades, the swift urbanization and expansion of industrial activities have led to a decline in urban infrastructure and an increase in environmental waste. The socio-environmental and economic dimensions of sustainable urban development serve as valuable tools for enhancing urban cohesion. Consequently, the study of sustainable development in Tabriz holds significant importance. In this study, we conducted a comparative analysis of the socio-environmental and economic dimensions of sustainable development in Tabriz city, focusing on regions 2 and 6. Our investigation involved reviewing relevant literature, conducting field observations, and administering questionnaires. The present study employed a descriptive and field-based research method. Data were collected through a questionnaire administered to various groups, including residents and experts from regions 2 and 6. The data analyses were conducted using SPSS software. The results indicated that urban sustainability in region 2 was assessed on a scale of 5 to 105 points, categorized into three ranges: poor (5-38), average (39-72), and good (73-105). In region 2, the evaluation of urban sustainability revealed the following distribution: 0% poor, 57.77% average, and 42.22% good. Meanwhile, in region 6, the distribution was 11.11% poor, 48.88% average, and 40% good. Notably, residents and experts expressed greater satisfaction with the sustainability of region 2 compared to that of region 6. Given that sustainable development is a crucial aspect of urban planning, it is essential to incorporate forward-looking strategies tailored to the unique conditions of each area within Tabriz city. This consideration should inform the planning of urban spaces, aligning with the principles of sustainable development. Manuscript profile -

Failure or prolongation of many intervention plans and consequently failure of future plans are results of this issue. This research was conducted to investigate effectiveness of immigrant residents on implementation of urban plans. This study is descriptive-analytical and provides an analytical model by explaining two concepts of dilapidated urban fabric and immigrants residing within. In order to evaluate the questionnaire in terms of validity and reliability, statistical analysis tools of SPSS software were used. Also, qualitative and quantitative statistical decision-making techniques were employed for analyzing the data. The three dilapidated area surveyed in this study are located in the city of Esfahan and are considered as marginal areas of this historical city having three distinguished population structures made up from immigrants from other countries, other provinces or within the province. Therefore, given their cultural, social, ethnic and physical differences, these three areas were selected as case studies for investigating and explaining the effectiveness of immigrant residents and implementation of intervention plans in dilapidated urban areas. In the present research, stratified simple random sampling was selected and employed from various sampling methods. The number of questionnaire samples were 226 people from Ghaemiyeh Neighborhood, 60 people from Zeynabiyeh Neighborhood, and 70 people from Hemmat Abad Neighborhood. The result showed that: the more immigrants from within a province, the higher effectiveness of urban collaborative plans; which means there is a significant relationship between status variables of immigrants residing within the dilapidated area and implementation of urban plans. Therefore, many companies in the world publish information on their social performance in response to the demand of stakeholders and increasing accountability to communities. On the other hand, sustainable development in Islam (achieving the transcendent goals of human beings) has material and spiritual dimensions. Moreover, the general concept of sustainable development not only seeks economic welfare and comfort but also includes public welfare from a social perspective. The purpose of the present study is to extract the components of the social dimension of sustainable development reporting from the holy Islamic texts (Qur'an and hadiths) using a qualitative content analysis method with a semiotic approach. The Holy Quran and 148 volumes of religious books have been selected as a sample by non-probabilistic purposeful sampling method. The findings indicate that the components of the social dimension of sustainability reporting in the holy Qur'an and hadiths include 25 components. Manuscript profile
