        A majority of books and writing translated from Persian literature include Persian proverbs among which wisdom and advice are of high importance. These books, as we know, are translated pieces of advice and wisdom from Persian and are known as “books of advice”. This paper aims at showing that these books are among the basic principles of Persian literature.  Having studied historical and literary facts of the past, and referring to contemporary materials and resources, it is revealed that Persian people have played a significant role in Arab literature and enriched it using their knowledge and findings.  Reasons for this claim are the genius and great authors in different fields of science in the Arab world, and that Arabic has so been spread in Persian lands which is widely used in poems as well as science.           Short story is one of the newborn literary genres that has drawn special attention of  literary men and researchers to itself in recent years because of its general effect on literature and its special influence on reader of a literary work. This article investigates short story comparatively in Arabic and Persian literature. The aim of this paper is to discover latent aspects of short story in Persian and Arabic literature. The authors are going to compare short story in   the two languages through studying factors related to birth of short story and also the opinion of critics in this literary field. Findings of this research show that critics of both languages agree to some extent about definition of short story and its narrative elements. This important conclusion has been obtained through analyzing samples of short stories in Arabic and Persian literature. And these critics have considered various names for this literary genre. The only difference existing in short story is its length. According to analytical- descriptive approach and library sources, the present study is to recognize narrative elements in elected samples and to define quality of its application in order to show how narrative spirit has been actualized in it.   Manuscript profile

        Translation is one of the first steps and a highly influential element in the development of the literary heritage of a nation. Hence, the study of translation studies is intrinsic to the research activities concerned with comparative literature, the productiveness of which benefitting all eras. Mastering languages of the world is a very painstaking task indeed. Consequently, the comparative researchers welcome translation studies. A glance at the literary translation movements in Iran reveals the very fact that translators active in this field have  done a poor job which can be due to lack of enough knowledge of  Iranian comparative researchers with western literature.            Phenomenon of pessimism  towards crow has existed from  hundreds of years ago in the literature: Persian and Arabic. Every Farsi or Arabic poet has spoken about raven and has argued the reason for devastation and destruction perdition. Without repeating that the motives of pessimism to  crow are multi, this article refers to the most important motives of  crow pessimism in the literature: Persian and Arabic, according to the following addresses: 1.Myths and folk traditions. 2. People's hatred  of black color. 3. Poetic stories. 4. Proverbs newly industrialized. 5.Hadith attributed to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his progeny 6. The use of crow in the poetic arts. 7. Linguistic derivation of the word crow.8. Tradition of the fathers. 9. Reliance on interpretations of dreams. 10. Misperceptions about the Book of Genesis in the Bible.
