The province of Bushehr, situated along the Persian Gulf in southwestern Iran, holds a significant position in the literature of the country, especially in the narrative genre of the southern literary school, spanning from the first to the fourth generations of writers. Storytellers from this region, like their counterparts in other parts of Iran, have employed diverse narrative techniques in different historical periods. The literary richness of this diversity and evolution is influenced by global literature on one hand, and on the other, it is connected to the narrative traditions of classical texts in ancient Persian literature, which utilize symbolism as a means of story representation. The aim and necessity of this article are to elucidate the merits, shortcomings, and contextual reinterpretations of allegorical and symbolic content in the second era of Bushehr's literary production. Therefore, this study endeavors to analyze allegorical works in three categories: independent narratives, non-independent narratives, and the use of symbols, focusing on the period between the 1920s and 1950s. It seeks to answer the fundamental question of which allegorical expression methods the writers of this era employed and for what purposes. The outcome of this research, presented in a library-style format with a research-analytical approach, reveals that during the second Pahlavi era, "Choubak" narrates independent stories based on the undesirable social and political atmosphere of the society, while both allegory and symbolic representation are found in the stories of another writer from this period, "Parvizi."
