In the past, Iranian architecture and urban development followed a specific trend associated with the architecture of its previous era. But in the contemporary era, this trend undergone changes and evolutions in this field. The present study sought to investigate the factors affecting architecture and urban development in the First Pahlavi period and to analyze some of the factors that have provided the ground for these evolutions, and also to examine the impacts of these changes and evolutions on contemporary Iranian architecture and urban development policymaking. The present study was a qualitative and quantitative one, which used library sources and studies in order to collect the data. Moreover, Analytic Network Process (ANP) and Super Decisions software were utilized to analyze the data. The study results indicated that factors such as archeology, training architectures, artistic congresses, archeology and the Association of National Monuments, militarism, and modernism have had a significant impact on the architecture and urban development of this period; and the extent of the impact of changes on architecture and urban development has been equal. The most influential factors in architectural evolutions have been modernism and archeology of that era; and factors such as training architectures, scientific congresses, and militarism have affected urban development evolutions. Simultaneously with the growing trend of urbanization in Iran and the social and economic developments of the cities, inadequacies in the social and economic fields have disrupted life in the cities. In the meantime, technological growth and progress in the last few decades has created new perspectives on the effects of information and communication technology in the city. In such a situation, the smart city has been considered by planners as a strategy to reduce the problems of urban population growth and rapid urbanization. Urmia, as the tenth most populated city in the country and the second largest city in the northwest of the country, has seen significant growth in recent decades, Therefore, it will be an important issue to measure and evaluate the feasibility of the smart city indicators and examine and solve the challenges ahead in the development process of this city. The current research under the title of evaluating the realization of smart city indicators in Iranian cities is a case study of Urmia city in terms of method, descriptive-analytical and in terms of practical purpose, which was initially prepared using library studies, existing documents and information on the theoretical charge of smart cities, and since the main goal of this research is to evaluate the realization of smart city indicators. Therefore, it is a survey research and in the end, SPSS software and VIKOR model will be used as tools to analyze the data collected in the study area for data analysis and to calculate the validity and reliability of the questionnaire. This study seeks to determine which factors exacerbate the fear of crime and what components can limit or completely neglect this problem. This is a survey method that compares crime fears and their individual and neighborhood factors among Ahwaz neighborhoods. The data were collected from a sample of 4 residents of different areas of Ahwaz city using a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity and reliability were confirmed. The data were analyzed using SPSS software. The results showed that despite the different effects of the studied variables among different neighborhoods, among individual variables, gender had a significant relationship with fear of crime and women reported more fear of crime than men, And this was also the case for non-Arab ethnicity living in these areas. Other individual variables (age, education, income, and home ownership) had no significant relationship with fear of crime. On the other hand, neighborhood-related variables, including inattention, neighborhood attachment, neighborhood quality, and neighborhood crime perception were significantly associated with crime fear. In the multivariate regression, only the inferior variable entered the model and was able to explain 21% of the dependent variable changes. As in the findings of this study, witnessing vulgarism is one of the important factors in fear of crime. Thus, it seems that the satisfaction of the neighborhood decreases the fear of crime. Among the neighborhood related variables, neighborhood characteristics, sense of belonging to it, the view of people toward Police, and understanding of crime and vulgarism were reported to be meaningfully related to the fear of crime at all and worriment of crime against belongings and persons (not the sense of security). The point of view toward neighborhood and ownership of the home, did not show to have meaningful relationship with the fear of crime. Manuscript profile

This research was conducted with the aim of policy-making and sociological analysis of elite migration in martial arts. It was a mixed-method study with an exploratory sequential design. In its qualitative section, the grounded theory approach based on the Strauss and Corbin model was used to comprehend the nature of migration among martial arts elites. The researcher also delved into the mental aspects of this reality, employing the pragmatism paradigm. The quantitative section utilized a survey method through the use of a questionnaire. Following interviews, codes, concepts, and themes were extracted, and the questionnaire was formulated based on these elements for use in the statistical population. The study population included professionals and athletes in martial arts, with 12 purposively selected individuals, and martial arts athletes in Tehran city, totaling 384 individuals who were conveniently selected. The research tools included semi-structured interviews and a researcher-designed questionnaire. None of these relationships were weak; in other words, all significant components play a influential role in the migration of martial arts elites. However, economic factors with a factor loading of 0.71 had the highest impact, while social factors with a factor loading of 0.51 had the least impact. Manuscript profile

The Covid-19 pandemic has become a health problem due to its high rate of transmission and rapid spread worldwide. Therefore, in recent years, many researchers have investigated and spatially analyzed the covid-19 disease with different factors in order to policy and better manage these conditions. Therefore, in this research, by choosing the city of Gerash in Fars province as an example of the southern cities of the country, the efficiency of the GWR model was measured to determine the high-risk areas of death due to corona disease in different age groups. In this research, the geographic weighted regression (GWR) model has been used to investigate the relationship between deaths caused by Corona in Gerash city and different age groups and spatial modeling for urban policy . The results showed that among the 10 age groups, one of them, that is, the age group of 61-70 years old, has a significant relationship with the number of deaths, and the highest degree of correlation can be seen in the west of Gerash city, followed by the highest degree of correlation, respectively. It is 0.97 to the north, 0.92 to the center and 0.88 to the south The specified places are economically weaker than other parts of the city, and the sections of society that are economically weaker are more vulnerable than other sections. Also, the practical results of the GWR model and its high power for modeling will help managers and planners to identify the critical points of pandemic conditions and use them for policy and better management.
