Designing an organizational intelligence model in Bank Mellat branches with a focus on sustainable development

Abstract :

The present research conducted with the aim of studying indicators of organizational intelligence with the focus on sustainable development and developing the relevant model in Bank Mellat. This was interpretative-inductive research using a mixed exploratory method. In the qualitative part, the interview tool and thematic analysis method were used, and in the quantitative part, the questionnaire and confirmatory factor analysis method were used. The statistical population of the research in the qualitative part was university experts and in the field of smart banking, and in the quantitative part the employees of Mellat Bank. For data analysis, interview technique and thematic analysis method were used in the qualitative part, and statistical tests and measurement model were used in the quantitative part. The software used were SPSS-18 and Smart-Pls 2. The findings indicate that organizational intelligence includes four indicators of strategic reforms, scientific capability, intelligent service and digital transformations. Also, sustainable development includes three components of financial sustainability, social sustainability and environmental sustainability. The results of predictive correlation index and model fit showed that organizational intelligence has a positive and favorable effect on sustainable development. Bank Mellat has been able to take important and effective steps in the field of intelligentization based on sustainable development. This shows the high power of this organization in making smart and achieving the pillars of sustainable development.
