Abstract :

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between religiosity and mental health among physical education and sport science students of Islamic Azad University, Isfahan Branch. The research was conducted using survey method and questionnaire and data were collected from a sample of 400 students from three academic levels. This study presents some theories for explaining religiosity and mental health. The results of regression analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between the dimensions of total religiosity and students' mental health. With respect to F values ​​and significant levels for each of the independent variables, all relationships with 99% probability, except for the positive dimension with 95% probability, are confirmed.
