Considering Relationship between Women's social capital and Their Participationin sporting Activities in the Yazd City

Abstract :
In today's world of sports participation as an essential element of life is considered, Social capital is the most important person on the basis of the individual's admission that it pays to sports participation. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between capital and young women's participation in sports. Bourdieu's theory of capital was used as the theoretical framework. The young women 18- 35 years old population of Yazd and to collect data, 200 of them were selected as examples of sampling. The findings suggest that sports participation for young women 18 to 35 years, the city of Yazd, the average level is. The mean age and employment, sports participation among respondents show a significant difference. But compared to the average sports participation among respondents in terms of education, there is a significant difference. According to the regression results, communication variables (r = 0/280) and social identity (r = 0/113) had a significant independent effect on sports participation variable in the most direct influence on sport participation of media consumption a (r = 0/463) is. Finally, social capital (r = 0/944) has the most direct impact on sports participation variable. Thus, the overall objective of this research can be found in the capital city of Yazd has a considerable impact on the social participation of young women in sports.
