5th verse of Al Ma'ede Surah is one of the verses in which Ahl Al Ketab food has been called Halal for them. Interpreters and philologists have conflicts with each other on it; specially Shia and Sunni's jurists. Some know food as grains, fruits and bread. The complaints by interpreters and jurists are important and could not be ignored simply. The food or viand from Shia's view point means grains, wheat bread and fruits and could not be known as meat of sacrifice or other form under any conditions. Because if the abovementioned meats are known as viand, thus all foods which are halal for Ahl Al Ketab would be halal for Muslims too; and there is conflict between this theory and the ones in books and traditions.
