Abstract :
The present study investigated the relationship between perfectionism and self-expression with responsibility in master's students. The statistical population of this research included all master's students of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch, and the sample of the present study included 240 master's students of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch, which was selected by sampling method. were selected as available. Students responded to Ahvaz Najarian and his colleagues' perfectionism questionnaires (2010), Dong Yul Lee's self-expression (1985), and Harrison Goff's California responsibility (1951). In order to analyze the research data, Pearson correlation and multivariate regression tests were used. The results of the correlation test between perfectionism and responsibility showed that the scores of perfectionism and responsibility of master's students have an inverse and significant relationship at the level of (a=0.01). The results of the correlation test showed that accountability has a direct and meaningful relationship with self-expression. The results of the regression analysis showed that self-expression at the level (a=0.01) can inversely and significantly predict the responsibility of master's students. And in other words, as the score of perfectionism decreases and the score of self-expression increases, the responsibility score of master's students also increases and vice versa. It was also found that self-expression with the coefficient of explanation (0.308) has a greater impact in predicting the responsibility of master's students.
