This study aimed to predict depression in college students through attributional style and religious orientation. In this correlational research, 200 students were selected among all undergraduate students from Azad Medical University of Tehran using multi-stage sampling method. Then the subjects were examined using the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Allport's religious orientation questionnaires and Seligman Attributional Style Questionnaire (ASQ). Data were analyzed using pearson correlation, multiple regression analysis, multivariable analyze of variance and t-tests. The results showed that intrinsic attributional style and table attributional style in negative events were predictors of significant and positive depression. Intrinsic religious orientation was significant negative predictor of and depression. In addition, independent t-test showed that religious affiliation in females was significantly more than males. In addition, depression scores in females were significantly higher than that of males; furthermore, the difference between mean scores of intrinsic, global and stable attributional styles in positive and negative events simultaneously between females and males was not significant. The results imply that attributional style and religious orientation are of the most effective predictors of depression. Manuscript profile

The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a Moral Behavior Inventory (MBI). For this purpose, 40 items associated with moral behavior were designed using the comments presented by six experts and tested along with the Big Five Personality Traits Inventory (BFI), Ethical Sensitivity Scale Questionnaire (ESSQ), and Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) on 329 undergraduate students. The results of the exploratory factor analysis as well as the confirmatory factor analysis (after the removal of 8 items) supported the eight-factor structure of the MBI which includes respect to differences, being considerate, responsible behavior, helping behavior, humble behavior, aggressiveness, cheating  behavior, and caring behavior. The evidences related to convergent validity and internal reliability indicated the psychometric capacities of MBI. On the whole, the results of the present study introduced the 32- item inventory of moral behavior as an appropriate tool for conducting research in the field of morality. Manuscript profile

This study examined predicts behavioral symptoms from emotional intelligence in delinquent adolescents. In this study 88 from delinquent adolescents were voluntarily selected. They completed the measures of Trait Meta-Mood Scale (Salovey, Mayer, Goldman, Turvey, & Palfai, 1995), and Behavioral Symptoms Checklist90-R (Derogatis et al., 1973). Analysis of data with utilization of multiple regression analysis revealed that behavioral symptoms of delinquent adolescents can be predicted from the emotional intelligence. Moreover, data revealed that delinquent adolescents with higher in an emotional intelligence were lower in behavioral symptoms (interpersonal sensitivity, psychoticism and somatization). Theoretical implication and practical application of the finding are discussed in the original paper. Manuscript profile

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between five factors of personality and intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy and self-efficacy also forecast was based on two variables. This descriptive study was conducted with a cross. The study population included all faculty members of the University Jihad (about 600 people) and the sample based on the sample of 234 people was estimated to be 95%. Frm‌Ha were distributed among all members and in different ways, and ultimately 245 people participated in the study, which is 32.1 percent female and 67.9 percent male-formed. Big Five Personality tool for gathering data (short form), log Mabayl job preferences and general self-efficacy questionnaire was used Scherer. Results showed that personality dimensions and intrinsic motivation, general self-efficacy had a relationship. Self-negative and significant relationship between neuroticism and relationship with other personality characteristics (extroversion, flexibility, adaptability and responsibility) and intrinsic motivation to be positive and significant. Simultaneous multiple regression indicates a relatively strong correlation between independent variables and the dependent variable. And found that 51.8 percent of the efficacy of these covariates addressing. The findings of this study the relationship between personality and intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy and self-efficacy based on these two variables confirmed the possibility to predict the screw. In this research 186 questionnaire have spread and then collected randomly among managers and teachers of the elementary school level of Garmsar. From all 186 spreaded questionnaires, 180 ones have analyzed completely. In this research it has been used "closed" questionnaire and the researcher himself prepared the questions of it. In the questions of questionnaire which has used for assessing the primary variables, it has used the 5 choice "Likert" scale. The alpha factor of "Kronbakh" of the whole questions of the questionnaire 0.806 has determined. It has used the "kronbakh" 's alpha for deliberation of the questionnaire's reliability, the "kolmogroph- smirnoph" 's test for checking if the society is normal or not, the single sample "t" and double sample "t" for deny or accept of the hypothesizes of the research, the "freadman" test for ranking, and the independent "T" test and analyzing variance (ANOVA) test for reviewing the role of demographic variables. The results of research showed that all of the happiness and mirth elements in elementary schools of Garmsar like physical, educational, personal, and emotional factors exists from the teachers and managers point of view.
