The relationship between self-efficacy and social adjustment with the mediating role of self-concept in teachers

Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to explain the relationship between self-efficacy and social adjustment with the mediating role of self-concept. The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population includes 1514 primary school teachers in Bojnourd. According to Krejcie-Morgan table, 310 students were selected by relative stratified random sampling (184 females and 126 males). Data collection tools were Bell Adaptation Questionnaire (1961), Schanen-Moran and Wolfolk Teacher Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (2001) and Carl Rogers Self-Concept Questionnaire. The face and content validity of the questionnaires were confirmed based on the opinions of 10 experts. The reliability of the questionnaires for the self-efficacy questionnaire according to the calculations of Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.87, for the self-concept questionnaire was 0.83, and social adjustment was 94.94. Was determined. The research hypotheses were tested by SPSS 21 software and LISREL. Findings showed that The relationships between the variables were significant and there is a relationship between self-efficacy and social adjustment with the mediating role of self-concept.
