Abstract :
This study focuses on analyzing and designing an e-learning model for Iranian schools during the outbreak of infectious diseases, with a particular emphasis on Tehran during the COVID-19 pandemic. The primary aim of this research is to design an appropriate online education model to address the challenges of the pandemic period and to explore the opportunities and issues related to the use of educational technologies under these circumstances. The research method is applied and employs a mixed-exploratory approach. The statistical population includes faculty members of the Islamic Azad University specializing in educational management and curriculum planning, selected through purposive and snowball sampling. The data collection tools consist of semi-structured interviews, and data analysis was performed using the Mixed methods and interpretive structural modeling. The results indicate that the online educational model is evaluated as moderately high, with active student participation and group organization being important dimensions of the model. Additionally, the objectives of the online curriculum and its assessment require revision. The analyses highlight the importance of precise planning and optimal use of educational technologies to enhance the quality of online education. This research emphasizes the need to optimize digital educational resources and develop assessment methods in the context of online education during the outbreak of infectious diseases.
