The relationship between academic support and procrastination with Passion for education in sixth grade elementary school students

Abstract :
The main purpose of the research was to investigate the relationship between academic support and procrastination with Passion for education. The research method was descriptive, correlational, and applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population of the study included all 1900 sixth-grade female students in Azadshahr city, of which 320 were selected by simple random sampling based on the Krejci and Morgan table. The measuring instruments were Sands and Plaquette's educational support questionnaire (2005), Procrastination (Savari, 2019), Willett et al Passion for education questionnaire (2011). Statistical analysis of the data using SPSS software showed that there is a significant relationship between academic support and procrastination. There is a negative and significant relationship between procrastination and Passion for education of female students. Academic support and procrastination can predict students' Passion for education.
