Abstract The present study was conducted to investigate the efficacy of quality of life therapy on the cross-cultural adjustment of international male students of international University of Al-Mustafa of Qom. This semi-experimental research is a pretest-post test kind with control group and follow-up. The studied population included all international male students studying at Al-Mahdi School of International University of Al-Mustafa of Qom in the summer of 2013 (N =543). The study sample consisted of 38 students who were selected among those of lower adjustment and were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The experimental group, received 11 sessions interventions in groups. The measuring instrument was Cerny Smith questionnaire of cross-cultural adjustment. The data were analyzed by statistical analysis method of covariance and MANCOVA. Results showed a significant difference between the scores of experimental and control groups at post-test )p<0/05). The results also showed that nationality, age, marital status, length of accommodation and traveling to thehome–land during the stay had no effect on the results of the training. The results also showed whether this therapy had not stabilization in 2-month follow-upphase.
