"Payam-e Bastanshenas" which means "The Message of Archaeologist" is a specialized magazine of archaeology and related sciences; This journal is affiliated with the Department of Archaeology of "Islamic Azad University, Abhar Branch" and is published bi-quarterly.
The most important goals of this scientific journal are:
1. Publication of archaeological scientific articles (Prehistoric Archaeology, Historical Archaeology, and Islamic Archaeology) related to Iran and neighboring lands.
2. Publication of applied interdisciplinary science articles in archaeological research.
3. Publication of scientific articles on those sciences and techniques related to Archaeology whose results are used in archaeological research or whose results cause the development of the field of Archaeology (History of Art, Research of Art, Architecture, Restoration, Ancient Languages, etc.).
4. Publication of articles derived from the first-hand results of archaeological field research.
5. Providing the basis for the publication of scientific articles by post-graduate students and young archaeologists.
6. Providing the basis for the publication of scientific articles with new approaches in the field of archaeology and related sciences.
