"PAYAM -E- BASTANSHENAS" is a specialized journal of archaeology and related sciences affiliated with the Department of Archaeology of Abhar Azad University, published quarterly.
The publication of first period of the journal started in 2013, and 25 issues were published until 2015. In the first period, this publication had the scientific-research privilege (Islamic Azad University).
Following the general policies of the first period, the publication of the new period of the magazine started in the spring and summer of 2022 with the publication of its number 26.
According to the evaluation of Islamic Azad University publications, this journal currently has a C rating.
The "PAYAM -E- BASTANSHENAS" quarterly specialized journal is ready to accept and publish researchers' scientific articles on various archaeology trends and interdisciplinary sciences related to archaeology. Additionally, it also publishes technical papers in related scientific fields (art history, architectural studies, art research, restoration, and ancient languages, etc.), in which the process of their research and compilation, the findings, methods, and approaches of archaeology are used, their results help to expand the realm of archaeology knowledge.
