Investigating the intertextual relations between Nali and Hafez's ghazal based on Julia Kristeva's theory

Abstract :

Hafez Shirazi is one of the 8th century poets of Persian literature, one of the speakers who had the greatest impact on Kurdish poetry. A look at the divans of Kurdish poetry, such as: Mahvi, Ghane, Molvi, Hafez Mahabadi, Salem, Haji Qadir and many others, is a good example of this influence. Kurdish poets, both in their Persian poems and Kurdish poems, have been able to benefit the most from Hafez's poems in the form of adaptations, guarantees, references, and the use of artistic images and innovative works of art. One of the Kurdish language poets who was influenced by Hafez is Mulla Khadr Ahmad Shah-Vaisy Makayili, nicknamed Nali. This effectiveness is both in terms of numerous terminologies and in terms of artistic depictions. In this article, using Julia Kristeva's theory of intertextuality, the author examines verses from one of Nali's sonnets in comparison to Hafez and his influences. The research method is descriptive-analytical using library sources. The results of the research in the analyzed samples indicate that Nali, with a special artistry, was able to recreate Hafez's artistic subtleties in such a way that it looks original and new.
