Abstract :

Mulla Mustafa Kalashi is one of the unknown poets and scholars of Javanroud region in the 13th century. Like many scholars of this country, his name is not mentioned in any book or tazkira, but based on the information found in the margins of the pages of a manuscript collection consisting of five treatises written by him and currently in the library of Jin center in The city of Sulaymaniyah is kept at number 60, it is established that he was the son of Mullah Abdullah Kalashi and the elder brother of the great Kurdish poet Mullah Isa Javanroudi and from the scientific family of Siddiqui Kalashi. In this research, we intend to investigate his status and works by analytical-descriptive method and relying on the information available in the aforementioned collection. Some of the results indicate that Mulla Mustafa in 1186 A.H. He was born, but there is no information about his life span and the year of his death. In addition to his proficiency and speed in the matter of writing, he has a psychic nature in writing poems in Kurdish language, especially love poems. The fact that he is ahead of some other poets of this country in terms of time shows the importance and position of Mullah Mustafa Kalashi in Kurdish literature in Javanrood region
