. The purpose of this study is to identify the status of religious and modern identities as two important dimensions of post-revolutionary generation identity and the relationship between these two aspects of identity and also to investigate the role of some factors affecting these forms of identity. The method of the present study is survey and its statistical population includes all women aged 18 to 42 years in Ahvaz in 1399 and the sample size is 191 people. The results show that the relationship between modern identity and religious identity is significantly reverse, meaning that by strengthening each, the other will be weakened. In explaining modern identity based on religious identity and other research variables, considering the value of coefficient (R2), it can be said that 0.186% of modern identity changes are explained by independent variables, and religious identity with a beta value of -0.281 is the best. It is considered a predictor of modern identity. Also, in explaining religious identity based on modern identity and other research variables, according to the coefficient value (R2), it can be said that 0.365% of the changes in religious identity are explained by independent variables, and social capital with a beta value of 0.503 is the best. It is considered a predictor of religious identity.
