Teleworking Consequences on the Women Employees

Tele-working is part of the new world jobs. Such a work style that has gained a lot of adherents in very recent years is depended on the Information technology (IT) effective utilization. Information technology (IT) is an auxiliary to promote such a work style but to attain it; other factors should be considered; alike, organization, work identity, the employee characters, life style, gender and… Beside the advantages and benefits of such a work style there have been consequences for individuals, families and organizations that must be taken in to concern. The women employment status, Tele-working implementation, negative and positive consequences for the women and their families caused by such a work style were reviewed in the present paper. Tele-working donated the home locus opportunity to women to stay beside the family while stimulatingly carrying out house keeping, child nurturing tasks and their job duties, but this might cause some problems for the women and their families.
