Abstract :
This study was designed to investigate the effects of training anger control skills on individual social adjustment of female high school first grades in Mahshahr city. The subjects were all female high school first grades.The sample consist of students in two randomly selected groups. (Experimental group and control group). The measurement instrument, California individual social adjustment CTP- . the procedure was conducted according to pretest and post-test model with one control group, meaning that the individual-social adjustment was administered to both groups. First, the pretest revealed no significant difference. Then the experimental group was assigned to an -session training program. At the end of the experiment both the control and the experimental groups were tested again. The results then were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The results showed that training for anger control skills caused an increase individual-social adjustment of the female students in the experimental group.
