Abstract :

The aim of the current research was to determine the factors affecting the financial management of selected clubs in the Iranian Premier League. This research is qualitative in terms of method and practical in terms of purpose. The research was carried out qualitatively. In this regard, interviews were conducted with 20 university professors, financial managers, marketing managers, and sports managers of basketball, volleyball, and handball indoor sports leagues. The interviews continued until theoretical saturation was reached. After coding the interviews, the calculated factors were presented in the form of 5 causal components, 5 intervening components, and 7 background components. The model of factors affecting the financial management of Premier League clubs (volleyball, handball, and basketball) was designed by considering causal, interventional, and background factors. This model can enable selected sports clubs to identify their material and spiritual resources and ultimately lead to the effectiveness of the financial strategies of Premier League sports clubs.
