Analysis and classification of municipal processes with emphasis on their duties (Study example: Yazd Municipality)

Abstract :

Introduction and Creating a transparent and agile organization with optimal processes that achieves its goals with maximum efficiency and effectiveness has always been emphasized. The title of a proven requirement in order to achieve the mentioned goals is the attention of most super organizations, on this basis the goal of research, analysis and classification of municipal processes with emphasisIt is their duty.                                     
Method: Based on the objective, the current research is of the type of applied research, and in terms of the nature of the collected materials and information, it is descriptive-analytical and of the case sample type. The approach used in the design of the organizational structure, the Process Grass approach, has been extracted first by examining the duties of the municipal institution in Yazd and according to the opinions of experts, appropriate components and knowledge

Findings: By classifying and improving the processes, the output obtained from the research findings was divided into two main processes and management and support processes, which included 12 different macro processes, among which was the information technology management process related to the research.

Conclusion: The process of information technology management pursues various goals such as clarifying and clarifying the processes of municipalities at the headquarters, regions and organizations levels, reducing the interference and parallelism of the processes in the municipality, achieving a comprehensive process reference, providing a platform for the design of integrated systems.
