1 - Testing the gender invariance in relations between personality traits, social problem solving and subjective- well-being: The structural eqution modeling approach

Abstract Present research compared the relation between subjective well – being, social problem solving dimensions (constructive problem solving and dysfunctional problem solving), neuroticism and extraversion latent variables among male and female students using structural equation modeling (SEM). So after drawing path among variables the research model was built and structural equation modeling (SEM) were used for testing that mediating role of the gender in that relations. Data collected from 536 university students (261 male and 285 female) that completed Big Five Factor personality and social problem solving inventories and subjective well – being scales. Results indicate that in spite of same fitting in measurement model, there is no similarity between men and women in structural model respect to data fitting. Comparison results which was made between structural models of men and women makes it clear that among men, subjective well-being can be predicted strongly by neuroticism as compared to women and among women constructive problem solving and dysfunction problem solving can be predicted by extraversion in better manner as compared to men. And in compare to men subjective well – being can be predicted strongly by dysfunction problem solving among women. The results of this research emphasis on mediating role of gender in studying the relation between personality, social problem solving and subjective well – being. The findings suggest is that general health professionals and therapists should consider the important role of gender in studying and explaining the influence of personality and social problem solving on subjective well-being. Repetition of this result by the longitudinal study is necessary.   Manuscript profile

Abstract:   Analytical study on the relationship and distinction between two types of emotional creativity and cognitive factors that are each based on the population of high school students is bojnurd. The research with the hypothesis that emotional creativity and cognitive creativity are distinguished apart, yet together relationship have been done. The population included all male and female high school students (first period) is in the public high schools in the academic year 95-94 bojnurd had been studying  Of the population, 126 males and 227 females were selected by cluster sampling stage. The method of correlation. Data collection also emotional creativity test is April and cognitive creativity Abedi. The results show that these two measures are distinct from each other, and their rod components communicate with each other.   Manuscript profile

Abstract Introduction: Given the importance of identifying people at risk of addiction and substance use and necessity of provide valid measurement tools in thisarea, present study aimed to development and standardization of a questionnaire to identify people at risk of addiction and substance use based on questionnaires of five-factor model of personality, emotional intelligence and resilience. Materials and Methods:The number of 300 (124 mal and 176 female) students were selected through available sampling from Kharazmi university and were assessed employing questionnairesof NEO personality, Bradberry- Greaves'emotional intelligence, Conner and Davidson' Resiliency, and Weed and Butcher'tendency to addiction. Data were analyzed based on Cronbach's alpha test, Pearson correlation coefficient and exploratory factor analysiswith using 22 vesion of SPSS software. Results:The results of the analysis led to the extraction of four factors, each of which had six indecators. Internal consistency reliability was operating in a range from 0/66 to 0/86. Criterion validity by examining the association between scores of the factors and tendency to addiction showed significant negative correlation between the tendency to addiction and first factor (r=-0.39, P<0.01), second factor (r=-0.30, P<0.01), third factor (r=-0.44, P<0.01), fourth factor (r=-0.40, P<0.01) and total scores ofextracted questionnaire (r=-0.57, P<0.01). Conclusion:Big five personality factores, emotional intelligence and resiliency not only significantly associated with addiction and substance use, also they are related structures that analysis of underlying components of them led to extractionof four factors that hadhigh validity and reliability, and can be used to predict vulnerability to addiction and substance use.           Quality midwifery services with respect to its direct connection to the health of women, girls and infants is very important Therefore, this study aimed to design a model for job performance ranking midwives provide prenatal care in health centers in Kerman province was conducted. The statistical population consists of all certified experts evaluate the University of Medical Sciences Kerman Province in 2015, 15 Person has been chosen. The convenient sampling method all the experts were chosen as the members of sample, Experts have Determined importance of each criterion against other criteria in a questionnaire based the scale Pair wise and data have been analyzed by AHP in the Expert Choice 11 software. Based on the findings of ranking the quality of educational services the maximum weight of the criterion of "Measuring the height of the uterus", "weight control", "physical examination", "attention to warning signs, '' physical ability and fitness", "BP", "auscultation of fetal heart rate," "determine the probable date of birth" and "understanding and application of experience" were respectively the highest weight among the criteria. Abstact The present study aims to evaluate the Pintrich and De Groot Educational Self-Efficacy Beliefs Scale at the students of Semnan University. For this purpose, 300 students (109 males and 191 females) were selected using multi-stage cluster sampling method and answered and Educational Self-Efficacy Scale. To determine the construct validity of Educational Self-Efficacy Scale, factor analysis and convergent validity methods were used. A factor with a special value greater than one was achieved based on scree test which shows the special values graph which this factor together explained 85/44% of the total variance of the test. The concurrent implementation of Pintrich and De Groot Educational Self-Efficacy Scale with students Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (CASES) was used to calculate the convergent validity of Educational Self-Efficacy Scale. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between these two measures is 42/0 which is significant at the level 5 / 0≥P. The reliability ofEducational Self-Efficacy Scale was calculated the internal consistency method and Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The results showed that the reliability of Educational Self-Efficacy is scale is 845/0 that is acceptable and satisfying. It is concluded according to appropriate validity and reliability as well as having globally reputable research background thatPintrich and De Groot Educational Self-Efficacy Scale is a perfect tool to measure self-efficacy.   Manuscript profile

Abstract Anxiety as part of every human life one of these areas is tested and evaluated. In reviewing the various common types of anxiety that affects 10 to 30 percent of student. The present studyReview the effectiveness of cognitive and metacognitive strategies and SQ4R Methods in reducing test anxiety, increase self-efficacy and academic achievement in high school students Rodhen city in Iran. The sample consisted of the population of 48 student's randomly selected sampling method and the way randomly in four groups of three experimental groups and one control group were.  To measure research variables from two tools was used: test Anxiety Inventory STAI-Y and self-efficacy Schwartz Scale. For analyzing the data, multivariate analyses of variance (MANOVA) were usedthe results showed that Cognitive strategies, approaches the end of the story, and their combination had a significant effect on students' test anxiety. Self-efficacy scores before and after training, cognitive strategies, approaches the end of the story, and their combination, showed that subjects in the experimental and control groups, there are significant differences. Cognitive strategies, approaches the end of the story, and their combination had a significant effect on students' self-efficacy. According to the findings, it seems that the SQ4R method employed in academic achievement and reduces anxiety has been effective. Average adjusted after the conclusion of the experimental group showed that the greatest impact in reducing anxiety and the combination has created the most progress in academic scores.   Manuscript profile
