The effect of spiritual therapy Pre-Exam Stress in Female Students in Tehran's District 19

Abstract :
The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of spiritual therapy on pre-exam stress among female students in Tehran's District 19. The method of the present study was a fully experimental study with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the study included 36 female volunteer students in the second high school (12th grade) in Tehran's District 19 in the academic year 1402-1403. Which were selected by simple random sampling method and randomly replaced in two experimental groups (18 people) and control (18 people). Participants completed the Gadzilla (1994) Academic Stress Scale in the pre-test and post-test stages. The subjects in the experimental group underwent Richards and Bergin (1997) group spirituality therapy training during 10 45-minute sessions (once a week), and the control group did not receive any training. The analysis and analysis of the research data was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics including indicators and characteristics of deviation and univariate and multivariate analysis of covariance and using SPSS software version 24. The results of the present study showed that spirituality therapy has a significant effect on improving pre-exam stress in female students (p>0.001). It was concluded that spirituality therapy can be a suitable method for reducing pre-exam stress in female students.
