Abstract :

Although there are different viewpoints regarding shirin,s birth place but Reflecting in historical texts and current researches, shows us that among the Khosro and Shirin chorals, Nezami Ganjavi is the first poet who says that Shirin is a Armenian princess. Considehing  the high position of poetry literature and history and that like Beyhaghi he takes responsibility for what he writes and regards truth fullness as a sigam of greatness and telling lies as an indicator of the worthless of speech, his poesms can not be simply considered as untrue. According to long history of Iran and Armenia, Historical texts, Researchers results and Nezami,s Khosro and Shirin tale; it seems that not only Shirin,s being Armenian is not unsubstantial, but there are evidences which reiaotoree this view paint.
