Abstract :
Female reflection in Hormozgan Folk allegories (based on the folk tale’s which are compiled by Mohamad-Saleh Amiri) This paper is an investigation on the status of women in the general culture of Hormozgan, based on the folk tales of Hormozgan. The folk allegories, as important narrative, are narrated in many societies by women. In these narrative’s, a clear image of the function, role and status of women is drawn; therefore, studying them can lead us to better understanding of the status of women and their lives. In this paper, data is collected in a library method of research, and allegories are reviewed using the qualitative analysis method. The necessity of this paper is to find out how the image of women is reflected in the general culture of Hormozgan. The main question of this paper is what status and function do women have in the opinion of the narrators of these folk allegories? In two parts, this study examines the political, economic, cultural and social activities of women in the folk allegories. The results of this paper show that although Hormozgan culture is male-dominated culture and gender inequality also restricts women's political, economic, cultural and social activities, women are more active in many cases, especially in the cultural and social spheres. Marriage for women is very important, and sometimes it is free to choose a spouse. The mythical mind of narrators of stories has led the role of women in functional and profound conflicting and contradictory structures.Women's stories simultaneously have different aspects.
