Abstract :
This article examines the development of Internet of Things technology in the field of urban management issues in order to achieve sustainable development. The existence of various issues and challenges in the field of urban management can be a reason for the development of the Internet of Things and pave the way for achieving sustainable development in three dimensions: economic, social, and environmental. Internet of Things technology has various solutions in the field of urban management issues that have received less attention. Urban management is one of the key areas for the development of Internet of Things technology that has various applications. The aging of society and the need to make homes and cities smart are concerns of urban management that can be achieved through smart city solutions. Accordingly, the conceptual model of the research "Development of Internet of Things technology in the field of urban management issues in order to achieve sustainable development goals" was presented. According to the analysis of the findings, the implementation of the Internet of Things to improve urban management will have a great impact on increasing the level of life satisfaction among citizens. Therefore, according to the results of the research, the development of Internet of Things technology will face many economic effects and consequences, of which reducing the country's public costs, creating individual and organizational entrepreneurship, internalization through knowledge promotion, and job creation have been identified as the most key ones.
