The effect of Islamic work ethics on deviant behaviors in the workplace with the mediating role of abusive supervision and hostility of workers

Abstract :
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of Islamic work ethics on deviant behaviors in the workplace through abusive supervision and hostility of workers. The current research is applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive in terms of correlational data collection. The statistical population of the present study was made up of 660 employees of Isfahan Islamic Azad University (Khorasgan), and 244 people were selected as a sample through the stratified sampling method proportional to the volume. The research tool was a standard questionnaire, the validity of the questionnaires was examined based on the content validity using the opinion of experts, the form based on the views of a number of the statistical community and was confirmed. (0.90), (0.88), (0.88) and (0.90) were estimated. Data analysis was done at an inferential level including structural equation modeling. The results of the research showed that Islamic work ethics has a negative and significant effect on deviant behaviors in the workplace through abusive supervision, and the coefficient of this effect is -0.22, and through the hostility of employees, it has a negative and significant effect on deviant behaviors in the workplace, and the coefficient of this effect is The impact is -0.11, and Islamic work ethics has a positive and significant impact on deviant behaviors in the workplace, and the coefficient of this impact is 0.75.
